I completely agree with left guy. New characters, new adventure! I have a vision of our new main character reaching his lowest point, he's hiding or he's in a place where he can just sit think about the problem, but he doesn't believe he in himself. At which point, Luke Skywalker's ghost appears for one scene and gives our main character extraordinary words of wisdom. Talks to him, inspires him, etc. It could bring a tear to everyone's eye. Episode 7 can be good if they make the right decisions

LoL! I heard it from the BBC World Service as well. I was switching stations and they were playing some Vader dialogue from Return for the Jedi which caught my ear. And it was like the a whole speech, long enough for me to think, "Why is a radio station playing dialogue from a Star Wars....oh no Lucas is dead!" But no he wasnt yet the news was worst.....Disney was getting Lucasfilm.

IMO, following a Kora vs Avatar story is the way to with the final trilogy. I wasn't alive for the original trilogy, but still love them and the Star Wars universe. But I always got the impression that we (as an audience) were promised a trilogy of trilogies. 1-3 = forming of Vader, 4-6 = core of Vader story, 7-9 = post Vader universe. I think these next three movies should continue with the hero's of the original trilogy grandchildren
Many articles from the people making it saying it will not be based on any books. That plus heir takes place like 6-7 years after ROTJ and the actors all about 25 years past that ;p They would have to recast everyone and that wouldn't go over well.
I hope that Ep. 7 will be the Star Wars Dark Forces Trilogy introducing a Kyle Katarn from the PC games to the big Screen or the Heir to the Empire Trilogy.
I believe lucas said the only characters that span all 9 episodes is R2D2 and C3P0. With that said he has no final say. That's a good thing. I would like a little cameo of luke and or han but not focused around them. Korra is a perfect example of how it should be.
Maybe a cloned Darth Maul makes an appearance. Such a good villain to be cut (pun intended) from the world sooooo early! That is a 10 year old me wish, lol!

He doesn't complete a sentence, and when he hands it over to someone, he lets them say 5 words, then interrupts to add some other info, which wasn't necessary. avengers was only good because it was avengers, it s handed on a silverplate.. yet the movie was cliche , worst screenplay, just watch the 5 first minutes it s ridiculous .. anyhow overall it was fine but watchmen 4 life.. now sw , first it s disney. second the writer is the guy from toystory, third it s gonna be a post episode seven , they should go old republic in my opinion (darth bane?). So i m not gonna put my hopes up , but it will still be better than nothing
