is flexible heel counter safe for shoes or boots? I've never think about this. It seems like in the world of sport shoes or boots, it's seems like a lot of people pointed out that these type of shoes or boots really need stiff heel counter, but I also read some Instagram said otherwise that boots don't really need stiff heel counter since if the heel drop are not high.

Flexible meaning it can conform. it needs to be firm but a have some flex so the lace pressure can pull it in.
