Why does every other vloger say R is race not rain, who is right, and who is wrong whay does it say in the hand book?

Earlier models (not sure but pre -2015 I think) are Road/Rain, Sport, Track. Later models (2016-) are Touring, Sport, Race.

So if you change modes, does it change traction and abs settings? or is it like the Ducati, where you can have different settings for each mode?

It changes base settings, but you can customize as needed.
