My two cents: friendly and nice are not the same thing. I live in a neighborhood (Florida) where everyone will smile, wave, and make small talk. However (trying not to be too crude) they would not piss on you if you were on fire...even if they had known you for years. Where I used to live (Kansas) I had a neighbor who never smiled, waved, or made small talk. But he plowed my driveway every time it snowed.
I’ve lived in Oklahoma City since Nov 2024 and I’ve noticed that there’s a lot of predators. It’s not as bad as Tulsa, but I don’t feel safe here. Like I said I just moved here and I’m already thinking of a way to move away from Oklahoma completely.
What is your basis on not having specialty Dr's in OKC? We have some cutting edge things where people are coming from around the world. The Dean McGee Eye Center is one of the best in the world, we are one of the few cities with Proton Therapy for cancer. OU Childrens' offers many specialties for children. I know of only one person who had to leave the state for medical care, and it was a very specific case.
Of course there are specialty doctors in Oklahoma City, like there would be in most major cities. But I know from personal experience and from some research that it's not uncommon for people to have to travel to Dallas or other major cities for more major work and procedures. Hope this helps clarify where I was coming from!

Are you going to move to an Okc suburb?
It’s October. How have you lived here since November of THIS year?

Friendly community??? Lol
Don’t trust a realtor telling you the “pros” of moving someplace.
