Finally Combining Duplicate Scindapsus Exotica Into One Pot With A Bit Of A Chop Here And There. I Also Discover Root Rot On My ZZ Raven 😭
Talking through my struggles with getting watering right and how changing the substrate to fast flowing substrate can help.
Also may have found a use for a shallow glass vessel fingers crossed the plant will be happy. Im hoping that as the plant grows if it shoots out a runner i can wind it back into the pot and instigate grow from the nodes

Zz plant is like a succulent. I water mines once every two weeks and they like warmth and indirect light. I have mines in a terracotta pot and she is doing much better. Good luck 🙏🏽🤞🏾💕

I live in the UK and I water my zz plant every three months and it's in chunky mix in a plastic pot. so far, it seems to be doing ok.

The shallow vessel is still an experiment not sure if the plant will like it but I love how it looks 💚

I have had better luck with the zz in terracotta cause it wicks away extra moisture and with chunky soil.

Please can you do an update on the scindapsis roots soon-mine all croaked when I uppotted from pon to pon-bigger vessel xx I don’t know what I did wrong other than obviously more pon is heavier, I do mix with perlite too. X
