Can you still use dmss to access remotely if it's connected to the internet via Lan with no nvr
I recently purchased a Dahua through you and it's working great. However the DMSS only works if I'm on my LAN. How to I create a tunnel to allow DMSS to access the camera when I'm remote??
Namaste, My Dear friend, Can we save the selected video from sd card to the laptop.?
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. ❤
Thanks, Fred. A nice clear presentation. Perhaps you already answered this In a prior video and can direct me, but I have the simple 'want of hooking an IP Camera to a TV for a live view. There are areas on our property 'view of a creek or pasture that we cannot see from the house. A 'living wall hanging is what I want.
I have an NVR cam, but frankly, it is a PITA. I have a couple of little cheater cams that ping my phone when a deer pass them, but security is not our issue and they are only intermittent. My dream is a 'live window' in a couple of rooms. Cheers.

I would upgrade the NVR and use a HDMI cable from the NVR output to and TV. If your cameras are on your network and you have a modern smart TV, you may be able to pull the cameras up on the TV using RTSP stream. This working will depend on a few factors, but it is worth a try. We do have a video on RTSP. ua-cam.com/video/ekgl7kw8C78/v-deo.html
Hi
Is it posible to use in the same time NVR storage recording and SD card?
Are they “independent” storage or they exclude each other?
Thank you
Nice sir, I need this and you make this video. Thank you so much
Your welcome glad it helped!
Hi Fred: Great video!! Quick question, if you don't use an NVR would you set this camera up to record 24 hours a day or only to record on motion? My guess is with a 256gb card you would have plenty of storage for multiple days worth of video.
With smart motion you get weeks as only people and vehicles trigger recording. With 24/7 you get a few days depending on fps and bitrate. I like motion myself but yes you can also do 24/7
Nice sir
Thank you!
Hope you can help.
I got problems with hikvison.
I solve the problem with microsoft edge plugin.
Now when I download videos to my computer from the cameras page it just doesn't save even if I log into Explorer as an administrator
Are you downloading the video from the micro-sd in the camera or are you using a Hikvision NVR?
@@WentworthCCTV
I'm using hikvision NVR
The NVR connected to the a stationary computer.
I'm trying to download videos from the playback to my computer.
Before the update to microsoft edge i download regularly, now it download but there is no video files in the folder.
