Is this fake?
A lot of issues in these videos can be boiled down to impatience. Filtering without properly looking or speeding while filtering, someone is braking for some reason so we had to pass them, etc. I like to be in a laid back mindset when I ride. I got nowhere to be. I am where I want to be - on motorcycle, enjoying myself riding.
Been watching your stuff for years Dan. You got me through my license and you get me through even afterwards. Everyday is a learning day
1st ride of season other day. Found myself target fixating on a curve, coming in a little hot. You popped in my head to remind me to stop looking at that guardrail! Look to where I want to go. Thanks man!👍
Man I couldn’t imagine living somewhere I couldn’t ride all year.
Nice!😊
@@Denali_Rebel I live in Michigan and ride pretty much any time the temp is above 0°F, granted my bike is a 2018 Apollo with a carburetor on it so riding in the cold takes some prep work.
@@Denali_Rebelwhere do you live, Egypt?

As a former truck driver I can 99% guarantee he was pissed. But now as a motorcyclist…. You just gotta take it Dan, come on man, he would of spent the entire rest of his life eating ice cream, getting huge, watching the bold and the beautiful reruns, in full depression if he didn’t take it 😂
0:50 As a trucker, I can’t stand when people drag their hands down trailers. It’s hard enough being a driver, then you look in your mirror and hope a random gust of wind doesn’t push you into the bike that’s inches away from you.
As a biker and cager, I really avoid staying next to big rigs. Also having a 40’ Super C RV, I understand why truckers don’t like people camping out next to them.
Absolutely understand why you would feel that way
15:50 obviously the older dude is in the wrong for being so agressive, but saying "Because we're kids and we're just having fun" is a crap excuse, and a poor attempt to try and wave away any responsibility. If you're that immature then you shouldn't even be out on the road, plain and simple.
What I want to know is why pedestrians think they can just walk out and stand in the middle of the road. It's for motor vehicles to travel on, not a parking lot to stand in with thumb up nose.
“ Side of the goat”😂 I always say side of the vehicle to myself in your voice when I see one, now I will always laugh and think side of the goat ! Thanks Dan
Just slow down a little and 95% of these "encounters" would never happen. Most of these riders seem to be riding "at their limit" with no safety cushion if anything goes awry, which frequently happens.
Amen brother
Yep yep. I ride like a grandma on the street to stay safe. Go play on a track, not public roads. It’s foolish.
I think the "Mom is waiting at home" thing for the guy @ 9:30 is to remind him to ride safe and get home alive.
Pretty sure it's just an excuse for riding over the speed limit. Officer:"why were you doing 100 in a 50 zone?" Biker:"Mom is waiting @ home".
I used to react badly to drivers doing stupid things and it often ended up in confrontation and 2 angry parties driving their separate ways feeling aggrieved and ready to bore everyone they knew for days afterwards.
Older and wiser I realise that people make mistakes,me included, yes I might have got hurt but I didn't so I just hang fire with the waved fist, raised middle finger etc and pretty much every time the driver has realised their error and waiting for abuse or an angry reaction then when it hasn't happened apologised in some way.
One side effect of my decades of riding is that I've learned to stay calm and manage stressful situations without overreacting,. It's done and if no one is hurt move on.
Most of these incidents have been at least partly the rider's fault ,I'm not preaching,I was young and stupid once myself but I've lost friends in bike accidents and know a young guy currently in prison because his riding tragically caused the death of someone else.
1:28 The truck wouldn't have been an issue if the rider had been slowing down for the stopped traffic ahead. He still couldn't slow down enough to avoid needing to squeeze in between the stopped vehicle and the curb.
11:39 Telling the guy to use his mirror is stupid. He just passed a car and was moving into the space in front of it. There was no reason to look in his mirror. He just needed to make sure he was clear of the other car.
@ 5:51 buddy must have pissed somebody off. He hides his face, and then the guy with the dog was coming at him. And then the girl tried to jump in his way to stop him... theres some missing footage here we're not seeing.
Goat incident, he said animals are unpredictable, even kids.😂😂😂 a young goat is called a kid!
I have had my license for almost 3 years now. This year I finally managed to buy my own motorcycle and stop riding borrowed ones and I tell you I had to purposefully start looking right for right hand corners. Almost went in the scenery twice and that was enough wake-up call to get me to actively look right :D
The weird things people will do to save 2 minutes of driving around the block is astounding
About the target fixation clip. When I was learning to ride if I got in a situation like that, that make me nervous, I would literally say out loud “look where you want to go” multiple times until I got through the turn or whatever 😂
Ordered my Quad lock today, love the videos.
0:35 hell yeah button 🔥
I wish people would understand that, even in states where lane splitting is legal, if you’re in an accident because you shared a lane with a car, you’re at fault
11:24 I like the fact that he stayed on the pavement and did not try to brake on the painted lines
Looks like Griswald got himself a motorcycle! 😆
Congratulations
The first clip where he rode under the giant beam is only a few minutes from my house 😂 I’ve probably seen the dude on the road before. Tempting, can’t say I wouldn’t want to….
When people have really insisted on getting through those blind gaps in traffic and I'm the one with the good visual, I've had to lay on the horn to get people to not cause an accident. Seems easier to just keep them closed and actively discourage the practice.
10:52 you missed talking about the guy splitting the crosswalk paint in wet conditions.
If you happen to see this Dan I have one question. Which style vehicle (truck, car, suv, van, ect.) does the worst in roll overs based on your experience?
Repurpose your target fixation. Yeah that's the one Dan.
6:25... clothesline!!!🤣😹
So many times saw some flipped over vehicle or bigass truck hit a bridge, man I could never get through that space. But my bike remains.
6:53 Rolling a stop sign. It is a bad habit. Not just for tickets.
in Ca. if a pedestrian is anywhere in the cross walk you must stop. I’ve seen cop traps that will ticket you if you start to cross the walkway while the pedestrian has one foot still in the crosswalk.
Same in Britain.
Usually I think Cali has the dumbest laws but I wholeheartedly agree with this one, it’s just better practice to make sure the pedestrian is safe because if you go when they pass you the car next to you can have that reactions to go as well because traffic is moving again and even though it’s “not your problem” I like to just look out for everyone. Especially when it’s something small like that.
I was ok with him just quick ducking under that beam, but don't LINGER, you'll end up like National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation lol.
6:13 KAREN ALERT! KAREN ALERT! KAREN ALERT!
I have seen quite a few roll overs. Saying insane makes him sound like he’s been living in a cave.
Exactly. Minimal damage until tire treads to touch, sending one vehicle skyward.
Love you bro! ❤❤ Sorry, trying to promote sometimes make an ass of myself.
She seemed to want the broken ankles, but didn't he hit and run? Am I wrong in thinking it's still illegal to flee the scene of the accident, or I suppose in this case, the non-accident?
Side of the goat 🤣
Lot's of this would help if they slow down omg man . I never run into this because keep the speed good so i can stop or turn out of danger .
❤
1:25 why is homie watching UA-cam videos while riding his bike. Terrible idea right there
Why not?
Let's call it POSITIVE target fixation, vs NEGATIVE target fixation.
As a trucker, I promise you he’s pissed. Probably nearly having a stroke, pissed.
Maybe it's just me, but the angry guy in Camo reminds me of Dennis Hopper somehow...
Hell yea brother, me and a few the other local 6 HOGINATORS all ran head long into a semi at bout 80+mph when it decided to blow a light and come big riggin cross hatch pattern to the MC. Rip Fat Tony, Big Gay Al, Hairy Tom, and the prospect Lil Butt-Pirate Pauly, man i loved you dudes. But by now they ridin off somewhere in HoGG Heaven ~ Amen Brether⚰️🚛💥🛵💨
The first guy should be happy nothing happened but also that he did it where he did because where I’m from trucks that carry oversized things needs 2 cars to escort it to make sure there is space and they would have either stopped the biker or gotten the plate and he would possibly lost his license get fined and depending how they looked at it also maybe taken his bike so it would just been annoying for everyone
Riding behind, or alongside, a big rig is d-u-m dumb. I avoid that positioning even when I’m in my car. Just get past them as quickly and safely as you can.
9:18 Looks like about 95% front brake.
The guy at 2:40 definately ruined his front wheel. You can hear it grind against the curb.
2:48 this one actually made me furious
i didn't know vin diesel road bikes
That first guy 🙈🤦🏻♂️☠️☠️☠️🔞🔞🔞
that chick in the middle of the road would have got a straight leg to the chest.
4 years ago i got a new bike had it a week and got hit from the back at a red light !! watch your back people in cars are a$$eaters
Missing most of the excess speed, Dan at 01:55 mins you missed the issue that even though the bike swerved to the left of the first car, he was up against the curb on the second completely stopped set of vehicles. So speed was way too high, not looking ahead far enough and this was not an interstate so they were speeding at 65 mph. Half the bikes in these vids are in the wrong, excess speed, stunting, going through stop signs, down sidewalks, riding in blind spots, "I'm young, having fun" (almost hit a pedestrian in a 25 zone), on and on. Most of these are what not to do, but Dan is often missing the speed issues. "Goaing a little fast, that's fine", not at all fine. These guys have no margin for the unexpected. Giving motos a bad name to other motorists!
Watching a video on your bike is insane.
Even more so in traffic near intersections.
Even more so at night.
Anyone who tells me that isn't distracting as hell is a damn liar.
I hope these bikers are healthy and have agreed to be organ donors with all the chances they seem to take. I know someone who has needed a kidney for 15 years.
1:30 Dan hes going WAY too fast. Look at him blow past that car. He can barely get slowed for that truck. Its painful when you justify the actions of some of these tool bags. 4:55 dbag move of the explorer. Do you want that biker coming up on your side, damaging your car possibly, shouting obscenities at you? Thats EXACTLY what explorer driver should have done. Youre losing a bit of touch lately.
😂❤🤌
16:45 Pretend-a-cop shows their ugly face, determined to change other's road behavior...too funny. Dangerous, but funny.
You mean like the riders who will chase people down to lecture them?
I dont think theres a law saying you cant go underneath of the truck like that?
BRO 175 for the Resq pack.... are you serious?????????? Please for the love of god stop shilling these stupidly over priced items OR offer it at a reasonable price for your viewers. Good lord, i may just stop watching, i am offended that you try to take advantage of new riders instead of offering it at a reasonable rate where MORE PEOPLE COULD ACTUALLY HAVE IT TO HELP PEOPLE... ffs dan
2:53 guy literally accelerated when the SUV passed him, they used turn signal and everything and closed him to prevent him going that gap and getting squished, what a crybaby that rider
That would’ve been a shitty and risky over take even in normal conditions, talk less of in poor conditions
The rider was being a drama queen. Dry, wet or snow, people are going to move over to the open lane when approaching a red light at an intersection. Whether I'm on the bike or in my car, I always anticipate that's going to happen and moderate my speed accordingly.
@@2006WhippetHow could the biker anticipate that? The driver didn't even signal until his wheels had already crossed the line.
@@JohnJones-qj8dm You anticipate it by the simple fact that people always do it.
1:25 not a 65mph road, guaranteed.
Haha
