Anything safety should be included in all models.
No mention of the Corolla being available with a manual and the Civic not (as of the 2021 model) is kind of a miss in this video. The typical rebuttal of "manuals only make up 7% of the market" doesn't matter. It's still valid information.
Great point. I bought my 2020 Civic Sport Sedan with the manual transmission and 2.0 naturally aspirated port injected engine as it was the most reliable way to go.
2020 was the last year to get a manual in a sedan with a NA motor.
I bought the car outright in cash new 8 months ago.
Going to keep the Civic but buy another fun car here shortly as I just sold my 2012 SS 6MT Camaro weekend car.
I’m really looking forward to the upcoming Toyota GR Corolla, I like the GR86 as well, but I’m super excited to learn more about the GR Corolla hatch!
Love my 2016 Civic Touring sedan. No issues at all with over 76,000 miles.
I rented a 2021 Corolla last year and it was the BEST car rental I have ever had. Phenomenal gas mileage, too, at over 40 mpg. on average. Will consider buying one soon.
Great presentation!
Great video bro
Which one is much lousy when cruising 60 mph on the highway ?
toyotas are the best
Not any more
@@koala6607 yes they are.
Toyota all day.
I have the 2017 Honda Civic Touring. I wanted a sporty looking car with room. For me the Corolla look was not sporty & interior was meh! We have an SUV for out of town vacations so having a small car is perfect for going around downtown ATL or running errands.
Love em both but Corolla wins for me.I just love Corollas.
Honda Civic for me any day any time
Toyota 1.5 miles from me are out of new Corollas in May and June 2021. They say they are getting them in all the time, but they must be selling quickly.
The Honda place 5 miles out has a fair selection, although they are down one after I left.
I test drove a 2020 and 2021 Civic LX today and a 2022 Corolla LE. The cars drive and handle fairly similarly. There might be differences if one drove them hard on a winding road, I don't know. But, in normal driving things are pretty similar. I did notice the Civic was a bit quicker. It also felt larger in the rear seating area. The quickness wasn't a huge difference. Both cars had adequate power for every day driving. The rear seating in my mind gives the Civic the edge. It would be more comfortable with four adult passengers in the Civic.
Buenas noches, agradecería subtítulos en español, muchas gracias.
I have the Honda and I just think the Honda more aggressive look looks better. But I know the corrola has a great price for the value. But my Honda civic 2017 doesn't have the lane assist.
My Honda Civic 2021 has lane assist
@@deontayjenkins226 yes could be the newer models. I do have the basic trim level.
Honda Civic 2017,18,19 best
I like the civic over over the Corolla by I like the Camry over the accord. Can’t go wrong with any
Maybe look up a synonym for “Overall”.
Otherwise good videos. 👍🏼
Don't you mean "overall good videos"? Haha noted thank you!
Not sure if I would call these cars affordable from GTA car insurance rate perspective - so far both Civic and Corolla seem to have one of the highest insurance rates among compact cars available on the market.
I prefer the Civic 1.5T. It is much peppier than the Corolla. Oil dilution is rare. Honda known for reliability wouldn't be putting it in their various models, if they thought it was problematic. Other manufacturers are following Honda's lead in putting turbos charged engines in their vehicles. The reviewer did mention the Civic has more trunk space and interior room. Civic is still the best selling compact car.
I guess you are wrong, corolla is the best selling compact car in the world. A little research will verify that.
When you discount fleet sales, the Civic is the best selling compact based on individual sales. Toyota factors that in when they tout the Camry sales of their 350,000 units in 2020.
Honda all day
Civic has a better power when I had a test drive with them.
Nothing against Toyota. I gotta go with the civic
If you thinking of buying corolla hybrid, get Camry hybrid instead.
My vote goes to Toyota Corolla (hybrid).
I thought this video was a comparison
Mazda3 :)
The Dreaded CVT continues. Even Toyota and Honda doing them.Is America next? Get used to it.Is Mazda next?
I really don't like the Corolla I got from the rental car companies.
I am in 2021 Corolla right now for a rental and I don't like it at all!!! it's very uncomfortable to drive in my opinion.
@@xoxoKacey6 The same here. I was astonished to find that I was the only one in the entire UA-cam who had the feeling.
The fact is the Corolla is cheaper then the civic and the civic is a 2019 22K and the Corolla 2021 is 18K new makes no sense
That’s not even a 2021 that’s a 2016 2017
Not well designed , my battery failed after 2 years, a rep said it is small and cannot handle all technology 😂😂😂. My first Toyota also had a design problem.
My Corolla has 300,000 miles on it and runs like new 🤷🏻♂️
@@TheBeaver50 My Corolla has almost 250k. Runs great. Never had a major issue.
Add me to the list of happy Corolla owners, and that 'battery is too small' come t doesn't make much sense; I'd think the Toyota engineers would be able to spec the right size battery needed for the t technology available!
You do look like a Toyota kind of guy 😅
I am in the market for a new car. I liked The Toyota Corolla but that grill in the front is just too egregious, terribly tasteless to look at, and it can't be covered. I don't know what they were thinking when they designed it.
I like it
I liked it so much I went out and bought a 2022 Corolla se 6 speed manual 2.0 with upgrades 😉 fun fun car to drive . short video on my channel. Now to begin the upgrades
I much prefer it to the Civic's grill; to each their own.
I thought I was the only one thinking it's ugly.
@@jimmyboy223335 And it is the very reason I ended up with the Civic although the Civic has an ugly grill too but it is less egregious.
