Does The X-Terra Work on The Beach?

I had fantastic time testing 4 metal detectors on the beach during vacation. In this video the Minelab X-Terra Pro is up to bat. I only took it out for short period of time but it proved it is capable of detecting the wet sand. Is it better than a Legend, Deus 2, or Manticore? It surely doesn't cost that much. This metal detector is great for beginners who want to find something on the beach and for those who want an all around good detector for land, water, and beaches. Will it find everything? I think you will have a better shot with some of the more advanced machines but this $269 detector will do its job.

I really like the X-terra Pro on the beach. I'm using the 15-inch DD coil and found lots of good deep targets even 2 rings. I got the XTP as a backup for my Manticore and I'm thrilled with them both.

So when it's in beach mode, wouldn't it be multi frequency even though it's not a multi frequency machine?

that was the issue the gain must be backed down just till it goes quites usually around 17 -18

Interesting video, no offense, I had a totally different experience on the beach with this machine and it performed better than Nox, I posted a video but keep up the good work
