This arrangement motivated me to start something extreme. I’ve started learning piano on my own as an adult, so you can well guess what my level is, but few months ago I started to have 1on1 lessons with a piano teacher and I want to take this arrangement to study it. It’s completely out of my level but even studying 1 bar per month is worth it. Thanks a lot for this arrangement!

It's easy upon first listening to be swept away by the fills and alternative chords, but listen to it one time and pay close attention to the rhythm substitutions - WOW!

Absolutely Superb - constant crushed chromatic chords and rapid melodic inventions combine Beautifully in this arrangement of Errol Garner's best-known composition. I believe that Errol should be considered a Genius for many reasons and I consider that this arrangement is a wonderful tribute to his memory!! Cheers.

hi jacob, i discovered your youtube channel last year, and i started working on your version of the pink panther about three months ago. being a classically trained pianist when i was young, i have no concepts about jazz, so it’s very challenging, yet incredibly fun and satisfying when i finally get the hang of a certain passage. i’m not even halfway done with learning the piece, but i already know which one of yours i’m going to learn next. “misty” has always been a dream of mine to play, and the fact that it now has a jacob koller arrangement makes it that much better. thanks for all of your talent and work! (how long does it generally take you to arrange a piece?)

Great arrangement - different pianists have played it in several different keys. I believe Garner played it in F and although he didn't read music, F was one of his fav keys overall. I've always played it in F myself, but I will try it in EFlat. Different keys always open up different harmonic possibilities from others. Also Ahmad Jamal, Geo Shearing, Oscar Peterson, Keith Jarrett, Bill Evans, etc all played it in different keys and got different tonal landscapes.
