Gonna treat myself this Christmas - yeah the rangers were trained to knife fight, with a revolver in the other hand - very badass. Prefer the short version. Very practical dimensions, in terms of knife fighting - short thick blade for taking attacks and still having a lot of leverage. No fancy quillons to catch on anything. Straight perpendicular lines for simplicity in doing the business.
I just took my Svord Von Tempsky Ranger out bushcrafting last weekend. Every time I use that knife I like it more & more. I wrapped the handle with black camoform tape and it was great. I literally want to purchase another one.
I have the Bon Tempsky Bowie. It’s a beast! I also called Mr. Baker and had him make me a custom Push Dagger punch knife! I give $359 for it….. Very good workmen Ship
Awesome! They have great quality steel and a really good heat treatment on their higher end knives. I really like them a lot. (Keep them clean & Oiled) - They will Last a very long time.
Joe you not playing ,your blade ready for Doomsday, another sweet high quality knife you got Joe . I like the idea that you got them both. Serious choice of blades.
power play 4 real ,... Thanx. I really just have them for Bushcraft purposes but, they do make a great set. - I plan on getting the Svord “Ned Kelly toothpick” Knife soon. Eventually, I want to get the Svord, “Hog Breaker” ! It’s a giant, double edge, Dagger!!! Total Doomsday Gear.
A different language? Mate, we speak English down here in New Zealand! My Ranger knife sheath is different. It seems they have abandoned stitching on the sheath, and now just use rivers. Mine has 13 capper rivets. Deankky I prefer stitching.
Bill Peart ,... it hasn’t caused me any issues at all. When I first bought it just for the sake of doing it,... I wore it on my belt around the house just to see how comfortable it is. It passed the test. I sat on couch and watched TV with it on and walked around , it was quite comfortable. Just a bit to large to carry in public where I live.
I'm currently choosing between the Forest Bowie and the Ranger. Which do you prefer under normal carry circumstances? Which would you want with you if you could only have one survival tool?
that really updated my journal ,... the Ranger Knife is much lighter and smaller so it’s easier to carry. The Forest Bowie is just freaking AWESOME! It’s heavy and less comfortable to wear but Man O’ Man is it a Beast! It’s almost a Sword! If You wore it in town, around everyday stiffs, You’d probably get arrested. 😂. BOTH KNIVES ARE ABSOLUTELY AWESOME BUT, My Favorite is the huge, Forest Bowie.
Nothing says "love" like a matching set of knives!
These svords look awesome, adding to my list.
Thx for the web store ive buy mine on chicago .

really a nice knife it is.
My Svord Von Tempsky Bowie & this Von Tempsky Ranger Knife are my favorite two knives in my entire collection. (Gotta keep them clean & oiled).

The blade looks great, it just needs a coffin style handle.
Can they make the belt loop any shorter?lol Looks like the handle would be jabbing you in the ribs.

@@JoeDoomsday I hear you, but knives that carry high are always harder to sheathe and resheathe with coats on.
Bill Peart , I agree.
