    A suggestion for flyaways, if you're in a mad rush to get to work, put one tiny drop of lotion on your palm, rub your hands together lightly and smooth over the crazy flyaways. Add a drop of water to your palm with the lotion if you feel it's too dry, or it evaporated too fast. Run a brush or comb if you want, and you're out the door. 😊

    🧡🖤 Excellent Denise‼️ I was using concealer - 2 shades lighter. I've noticed my silk tops are actually white & look GREAT so while @ the local beauty store, bought LA girl white concealer & white adhesive tape - WoW game changer👌🏼 #thankyou🌈🦋

    Your videos are great. I've been wearing wigs for ten years and find your videos give the best information and make me more comfortable in trying different things. I have a question/request...can you direct me to one of your videos with some more detailed information on waus to how to style regular synthetic fiber wigs to keep the hair from going forward and hiding my face and also how to create more volume and lift in the front of those types of wigs. Im especially interested in a heated tool with a plastic barrel
    I think that a lot of us would really find it helpful. Thank you 😊

    Hi Denise--love that Sangria color! On a related front, I'm wondering if the hot comb parting thing can work with a regular synthetic, like Girl Mono. My Girl Monos (I'm an addict) always feel too thick in the parting area. But I don't want to melt the fibers. As for plucking, I can do that only by hand (a variation on trichotillomania), but using tweezers isn't in my thumb's ability skillset. Also, have you tried the heat comb on low to perk up sagging GM curls? Thanks for the tips!

      Let me do some experimenting and get back to you on this... I just recently got the Rene of Paris hot comb that is supposed to work on regular synthetic and so I will be testing it out. HOLD TIGHT!

    Very good video to watch, thanks Denise. I wish there was a hot comb that one could use on a traditional synthetic fibre wig, one that wouldn't melt the hair of course.

    Denise I have that wig and I won't even wear it I got the knots the front of it looks so phony the lace in front is terrible I don't know what to do

    • @heywigsister
      @heywigsister  Рік тому

      I would pluck it a little and then use makeup on the knots. That is what I do on my wigs that look like that and it helps a ton!! Sometimes trimming the lace a little with a pinking shears helps as well.
