- Chrisandthemike had a significant impact on me and many other people in my generation growing up on Minecraft. In this video I cover what happened to him and likely why he has left so suddenly.
I did not mention the situation with Chris's dad in this video because I didn't think it was relevant... I've since seen some people argue that Chris took down his videos because some of them had his dad in them. I think there might be some truth to this but it doesn't explain why he took down everything and the main reason why he took everything down is still the fact that his views were declining.
In pains me very personally to see that Chris isn't uploading anymore and that UA-cam isn't working out for him anymore, I hope the best for him in the future and hopefully, someday he will return.

It's insane how long ago this all was but feels like yesterday lol from 2011 being a fan of Chris, to 2013 starting my channel with him to 2016 where the videos started popping off. They were all great times :) Sad that stuff happens but everyone is human and make mistakes, key thing to take away from our situation I believe would be proper communication, let your friends know how you feel and communicate that in a healthy way rather than trying to pretend everything is ok when its not. A lot of videos disappeared but at least if you watched them you have that memory and its probably better that way rather than re-watching the old videos :P

It’s kinda crazy how recent this was. I haven’t thought about Chrisandthemike since he was doing those apartment vlogs back in like 2015 lol. Glad he’s on a self healing journey, but his videos were also literally my childhood.
I stopped watching when he transfered from minecraft to roblox. But I did check periodically to see is he ever switched back or even made 1 more series on MC.
Exactly I loved his minecraft old ass mods they were so good his family videos were fun his videos with his gf where fire they were so good
Minecraft family was always my favourite UA-cam series and it actually feels like ive lost a part of my childhood by not being able to revisit it anymore 💀

My brother and I grew up off of Ashley and Chris, and it really hurt us when we found out they quit, but they do have a life. And we must remember that
I been with chrisandthemike since 2011 and i remember his irl Channel with his first girlfriend and carflo back in the California apartment he deleted that in early 2016 then did the vlogs with garlian and carlo and ash. I went to check his stuff in 2021 and the heartbreak i felt was insane. He was my comfort growing up and i watched him religiously. Loved listening to him talk about anything and everything. Gonna miss that guy so much. I hope i run into him one day to see whats going on. Still my biggest heartbreak

A few years ago, Chris and Ashley had a child together. There were complications that led up to this, but it I am assuming it left a dent in both of their mental health. Once UA-cam wasn’t enough to support their family, and Chris moved on and as far as I know, Chris became a plumber. I will miss CrashNation, but I know that it will stay alive in the memories everyone has.
How do you know he is a plumber?
Also, the internet was begging Ashley and Chris to show their daughter's face. And they were very uncomfortable with it.
I loved watching his Jurassic Craft series with Cyanide, glad Cyanide’s videos are still up so I can still keep watching

I don't believe what Chris said about what went down between him and Carflo. Garlianx actually shared his side of the story on Twitter. It's not really fair to only go by what Chris said happened.

It’s just Garlien yeah it’s spelt like that, I remember tuning into one of his livestreams I don’t know if he unlisted that one or I can’t find the timeframe but I remember Carlo joining in the call and it was a really fun time 😊 it was them talking about UA-cam and silly things
I miss minecraft family and the server they ran tbh
it really came down to him having a IRL family with Ashley and i remember him saying that the YT videos weren't making ends meet so he had to get a 9-5 job somewhere. but it kind of sucks that he nuked his channel like this and he did say that the Chris in the past videos isn't the same Chris anymore hence the nuking. he wants to go private with his family and i get that but not saying a goodbye or something like that is more of a "fuck you move" to the audience that still liked to watch for nostalgia reasons.
i had been watching him since his first couple minecraft videos and spoke to him a couple times over the years (way before his big fall out with carflo) and it honestly makes me sad, he used to be very kind but life just isn't the best to most of us :(

i would like to say as a avid follower of their channel they said that when they had a kid they wanted to try and protect him from the internet and it seems as when they had the kid they deleted all the videos to try and stop and information of their personal lives leaking (i got this from their vlog channel)

i first found him through his sims 3 videos back in like 2013/2014 and eventually started watching his minecraft videos too. it’s so disappointing that he deleted everything

I remember the days I will wake up to go straight into the computer and watch a lot of his videos starting with the whole Minecraft family series i continued watching and saw a lot of more content with different creators such as cy's planet carflo and more. i stopped watching when he started playing Roblox content. i wasn't into Roblox never was but now seeing how everything is deleted it doesn't feel good hope Chris is doing alright and hope he will be back with the crew once more.
I'm sad cause I find myself always wanting to go back and watch his original solo minecraft comes alive and his pov of Mc family and Jurrasic craft I loved those. Sad to never be able to watch them again

He was my favorite youtuber all times back in 2009 - 2010 something around the corner i was in middle school huge fan of his videos it just sad it wiped all those videos down he should of keep it all of his memories that he playing with 😢

Watched him when I was 6. Then forgot about him until now, 6 years later. Just remembered him and decided to search him up to see how he's doing to find out he deleted his channel. I am currently heart-broken.

What I remember from Ashley’s Instagram and videos was that Chris was interested in Ashley and they started dating and later got married. After the fallout Ashley made content only with Chris and later on got pregnant and this shifted their minds to wanting to become role model parents.
Ashley went back to community college and is working her way to get a degree in Psychology I think (this was probably a year or so ago that I remember this, it could be different) and that Chris got a job irl with a good income.
But Ashley before wrote that she and Chris didn’t want to be associated with their old content and don’t want their daughter to know that they were once UA-camrs and live a more private life.
I do believe this to be the case for Ashley but with Chris I wonder if he wanted to make a comeback when people were starting to remember him but got busy with his family and job irl.
I loved going back and watching his minecraft videos, I never truely finished series but I loved watching jurassic craft and come alive series
I watched Minecraft Family all the time up until a certain point. One day I checked in on his channel, he was talking about how he was going to the grand canyon as a vacation… and that’s the last I heard of him.

So about 2019 ash almost died in pregnancy but the baby and her are still alive but as views slowed down on the family channel and on both Chris's and ash's channels as they were stilling making daily videos each getting maybe 10 at most barely making anything so Chris had to become a plumber or something around those lines but then the uploads kind of just stopped and on the family channel they stated that they didn't want people knowing everything that their newborn did and how they wanted to give their child all the attention since they both had grew up without parents really in their life and they didn't want it to ruin the baby's life in any way and Chris was trying to patch things up with his mother about 1 year ago and then they also didn't want to distract kids on UA-cam since a lot of kids already do get distracted enough and they said they knew that they wouldn't earn money but they were doing fine so they didn't also want to worry if their videos got taken down but that is all i can remember of course it has been about half a year so yeah after all this they kinda wanted to make their life private if you couldn't guess but hope it cleared it all up

I don't think it was about the views. I'm pretty sure they (chris and his girlfriend) quit because they had a baby and ashleyosity especially said that after having one, she realised she wanted to help children IRL and didn't feel she was making an impact on YT.
