To add to your video, all great points and hard to disagree with, however after reflexion I do not really enjoy the game much. It's okay, and indeed, "mediocre", but what does it mean in this day and age?
I can see why DE tried to take Wayfinder under their wing at first, though I can't recall if it was them or their publisher. Bought the game on re-release to support the creators because clearly they were dealt a terrible hand and wanted to keep pushing, or at least they're great marketers for compassion.
But the problem is... why play this when Warframe exists? Wayfinder is a mediocre looter game with some cool ideas (at least the lore) but for now it's just... whatever. It'll take time for them to find their own identity, because this blend of many things is pretty boring.
Obviously, it's early access, but the core of it is bland (it does have fun elements), and I can't see a future for something so colorless. I'll keep an eye on it from the sidelines, but I don't expect much from the full release.
Also, I played Warframe during its beta times (founder), so it's impossible for me to not compare the two. As standalone products, monetization model aside, and at a similar development in time... hm. Well let's just say I hope Wayfinder is closer to an alpha than to a beta.
But I'll give the developers a long line: they care, and for that, they deserve more than my cynicism. Something akin to your enjoyment despite its skeletal gameplay frame, as well as hope for their future. And so I do hope they inject some more bone marrow, and get the skeleton a strong shape instead of Osteoporosis.

Oh but there are builds you just need to play the game another 80+ hours, because that's around when it gets good and let's you actually play it.
(Why did we let people psy-op us into thinking this was good.)

It's essentially similar to the sunk-cost fallacy, or how cults work.
Get someone so invested in your mediocre product that they'll cheerleader for you because the alternative is accepting that they just might have made a terrible mistake.

Sounds like Dauntless, but less challenging.
