the 27 21 is a Single Segment run, meaning no deaths/no saves are used. So it's a bit of a different category here, this one compares to the previous 26 30 WR I have also uploaded on youtube
@@mapron1 it's not insane but it's definitely higher than it should be. If it's like that when you're sleeping it's probably unhealthy over a long time, you should have that checked out. For me my resting heart rate is 50-60 but I am not resting at all when running and streaming half-life
At about 20:10 we do a glitch called Infinite Health Door where we get stuck in a door that for mapping reasons gives us 100hp/s and stay in there to collect enough HP so we can finish the rest of the run doing as many grenade boosts and so on as possible. The hud can only display 0-255 HP and when it exceeds that it starts again at 0 but you can have infinite HP
if you get stuck in doors in this game, it deals damage. Doors on this map however have their damage set to -1. Which means you get hp instead of damage. So in the run you get a soldier to open a door and then you get stuck in it and gain 1hp every frame, so 1hp per second.

use "bind mwheelup +jump", then scroll up to jump immediately when hitting the ground, then turn right + strafe right or turn left + strafe left to accelerate in the air (you can also bind jump to mwheeldown)

It scares Barney into running towards the door and opening it, skipping the whole freezer section. You can do it without nades by pushing Barney into the door, but that's slower than making him angry, and then scaring him with nades to run into the door instead of a slow walk.
