This wasn't shown, but I like how the laboratory had both a Protoss crystal and Zerg organism sample. I love how once race is Physics-based and another is Biology-based. I guess Terrans could be 'chemistry-based' with their stimpacks, flamethrowers, projectiles, etc.
Couple of upgrades I think are MUST -Stim packs -concusive rounds -malestorm rounds -firebat fire increase -both bunker upgrades -medic healing upgrade
The Wraith got the bottom of the barrel in terms of uprgrades. The field dampener and extra energy should have been combined into one upgrade and it should’ve gotten something else. The range and AOE upgrades for the Vikings make Wraiths useless after the one mission they’re introduced.
I know people's mileage varies greatly dependant on their preferences, but I actually found the wraith amazing in some maps, such as the one where you're supposed to go with mass battlecruisers - which were slow, boring, and just dragged out the mission. Enemies often didn't have detectors, so killing that mothership was a piece of cake, it didn't even fire back once; nor did most of its cohorts - I'm guessing the playtesters forgot to try Wraiths against it so cloaking was OP. They also did good alongside the Banshees on Typhon in my playthrough, having cloaked escorts alongside them made for a strong attack. I strongly agree with the upgrades available being utter garbage though, they couldn't do anything better?
I agree with the Field Dampener and Extra Energy being combined into one. In my opinion, it should also get the Pulse Amplifier upgrade from Swann Co-op as the second upgrade. If I were to go imaginary, I'd create the Slipstream Upgrade: If health reaches below 30%, it'll enter an accelerated state that can dodge projectiles of all types with a chance of 30%, and increase movement speed by 30%, it will also increase attack speed by 10%.
Thanks so much for uploading this :) If only Blizzard made it that Regenerative Biosteel heals percentage HP so it could compete with the Cellular Reactor.
@Ostrich 23 on top of that with medics and Medivacs is almost a must have. Not a bad pairing too with a Hercules if you drop a Hercules filled with marines and marauders and have like 2-3 medivac with medics it’s a pretty solid and fun strat
Thanks for posting this this has been a great help, in fact after reading some of these upgrades for The units I actually made some custom upgrades for the buildings and units for a story I’m working on Wattpad
Some of these upgrades are lame. Wraiths on their own are almost useless in the campaign, but the upgrades don't help. +100 energy won't really do much because most players won't be sending Wraiths to perform stealth attacks immediately after they're produced. The evasion while cloaked is an interesting idea, but I don't think 20% will change people's minds. I would've preferred either an upgrade that allows Wraiths to cloak permanently (although Ghosts and Spectres already have that kind of upgrade), or have a better ground attack. I think they also need to be faster in general to really have the advantage of being a "surgical strike craft". The Diamondback upgrades could make them very useful, but they're too expensive or minimal. I think +2 range would be a noticeabl improvement, and a cheaper cost on the health upgrade would make it actually worth considering. 250 health strike vehicle would be very tempting (although all-in-all I think a speeding up the weapon cooldown would be the most useful upgrade it could have). The Ghost's Optical Implants are nice, but don't have much of an effect relative to their cost. I think the sight range increase should be greater, because sight range in general is a fairly subtle stat, as well as the nuke range so that it is easier/less risky for the player to invest in nukes. G-4 Cluster Bombs are pretty expensive considering they're difficult to use and overall situational. They're not even effective at killing stuff on Brutal difficulty because the enemy A.I. usually splits immediately after the bombs are placed. The Viking range upgrade is impressive, but I don't understand why it doesn't affect its ground attack as much. It just makes people disregard the ground mode even more. And some upgades may be too powerful. The extra healing for the Medics is really powerful, and perhaps a cost increase would cause people to think about it more (or perhaps only increase the healing speed while not affecting its energy usage).
Caleb Jaaniste The Ghost's range is very useful in All In air version because if you put an Ocular Implanted Ghost with maxed bunkers they can shoot Brood Lords
Even if i am not a fan of the Diamondback i think they could have done something better for it. Maybe they could have replaced the +50 life with something like the Void Ray thing that does damege in time, that would have neen cool, however nice vid!
Are these upgrades only available in the campaign??? I was looking for them in the actual game and I couldn't find the upgrade where you could put a turret on top of the bunker.....
how do you use ‘advanced construction’? I can’t get it to work through movement, gathering commands or selecting multiple workers in the most recent patches.
The sad thing about this is you can't purchase all the upgrades as your credits are limited. I wished there was a way to earn credits on the side. Other than the extra research samples. Also wished that the research options weren't set in stone selections. That you can switch between the two once they were available.

Upgrade units, hire mercenaries, and research abilities. I really love them.

Campaign only, as they would make Multiplayer unbalanced.
Hercules scene is the most badass. Classic 90-th

There should've been an upgrade that allows specialist units with energy to recharge energy 50% faster when out of battle.
what about ghosts? what of the bonus units made through research? I know they have upgrades as well.
Extra sight range and permanent
cloak
@Virrad ..... check zerg research.
it's cellular reactor.
