Yet another epic match that went 4 sets & over 4 hours. Make courts fast again, jeez. Alpha Karen spoke to the manager about Daniel's one-handed backhand liability & had him terminated. Poor Altmeyer lemon fought so hard, but he was too tiny, defensive in his court positioning, & ultimately overpowered by the Ruskie's bigger weapons. Loved Alternate's fighting sprit, though. His exclamations cracked me up.
You are not funny, and it is sad watching you try to be.
Wouldn't call altmaier's backhand a liability, often a weapon for him
@@awesomeairplanememes 1HBs require more precise timing & too much room on the swing to execute properly. If you mess it up it goes horribly wrong & you look the fool. 2HBs offer more control, stability, & margin.
@got2bjosh Altmaier is a master of the shot and in his matches his backhand does lots of the damage and certainly is not a weakness. In general, most players will struggle with a one hander and should opt for two but Altmaier specifically has a great one hander that is not a weakness for him
@@awesomeairplanememes Meh. He lost the match. 1HB will never be as advantageous. Even Federer admitted as much.
Karen goooo ❤
I hoped, that this year WTA/ATP/ITF, would stop this nonsense of mixing sport with politics.
Every player should have right to play under her/his country's flag. One cannot choose the country of one's birth.
Appointing "flag police" at the AO 2023 was not even childish... it was embarrassing and insane...
Wars are run by politicians not sportsmen/sportswomen.
Why during the invasion of Iraq, 20 year bombing of Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen and Pakistan not to mention the genocidal Vietnam war US, Australian, UK... athletes were allowed to compete under their national flag?
USA invaded Iraq in 2003 and yet their flag was still allowed at the World Cup 2006 in Germany and 2010 in South Africa despite the fact they were still in Iraq.
Either ban ALL flags of countries who go to war, or don't ban any of them.
Another example; are Israeli (Para-)olympians responsible for the policy of their government towards Palestinians?

All wars are equal, but some wars are more equal than others.
