@@jdbauer9183 it’s actually somewhat counterintuitive though because you take a material that is super durable and easy to clean and make it more fragile for looks. like literally any rag and soap with some pressure washing will do just fine on SS and if you treat the glass it is also very easy to clean as well. You can carefully pressure wash PPF idk about vinyl but if you’re going off road the wrap will probably get trashed.
Nice work, should be proud! I'm sitting and contemplating my wrap, i think i can get away with a diy job, thanks for showing a nice example... love the tech house track at the start of the video, got the details on that?
Yes its easy to do, flat panels... with little DIY skills you can do it ... here is the track details ... just search on you tube with this text "kage-cereb-future-house-ncs-copyright-free-music"
I did ceramic coating .. here is the video for that .... ua-cam.com/video/AT9OirQXgy0/v-deo.htmlsi=4Male8as5HDrb9nM It attracts some dust ... have not washed or tried cleaning it yet ... probably will PPF in the front that too from bulk roll self cut ... mine is garage kept ... if u are doing on your own and have lesser DIY skills I will recommend satin or matte ...
If you are having diy skills on scale of 1 to 5 , around 1 or 2 , you can definitely do it on your own from bulk roll. Just buy the vinyl which is less sticky like Avery or something. If u want to do Matte finish
The prices wrap shops are charging is f@king insane! This has to be the easiest freaking truck ever to wrap "Oh, that will be $7,300" GTFO! I watched one shop enter a quote $1,600 for the PPF, $4,400 for the service. lol
Its insane, I do not understand why the wrap shops are spiking prices for an easy job. Hence chose DIY route ... 500 $ and DONE !!! I can wrap it 10 times (different color each time) and still be cheaper than the shop quote !!
no this was a bulk roll, I cut them myself. Honestly that is NOT the hard part. You measure the width of panel. (height is same 5 ft roll) ... then once you cut you have a rectangular/square piece. Hang it on car/truck with magnets and do a rough free hand cut ... leaving extra 1-2 inches on each side ... after sticking it then you do little more precision cuts
@@TeslaDiyMan I need Tesla to drop the price to $60K and offer regular painted colors. This is a major pain, although looks fun. Dude you got some fine skills.
Excellent Job! Now I think I have confidence I can do the same to my truck!
Definitely possible , little DIY skills , prep your truck watch my part 1 video
When engineers have too much free time....
Too much !!!
😂😂😂
Looks like the Cybertruck might be easier because it's so blocky.
It is easy since it has all flat panels, depends on brand of vinyl , to understand how much tacky it is
WOW, this could be a home run video for you. Fantastic content, super cool soundtrack, informative, entertaining. I rate it as Epic Video . .

I think all cyber trucks need a wrap of some sorts.
yeah I agree, IMO too, but some like that raw SS look, its personal preference.

Bad ass...I love it...that gloss black looks so nice ...especially with the embossed look of the tailgate...great job...🎉
Thanks buddy
Great work. I have chrome deleted my logos and added vinyl to give my front bumper some style. Hoping to wrap my whole EV 1 day
Share your video or link would love to see it too
how is keeping it clean? do you keep it garaged or outside? I am thinking gloss PPF or satin thanks

Great job
Houston Fellow ?
So…no need to buy the precut set from TESBRO ?

so this is PPF not vinyl? That's what their site says.
This is Vinyl, if you are looking at VViViD website then VViViD is brand name, they make both PPF & Vinyl.
Great DIY job on the truck!!!
Thanks @locsmiths

You need to add ceramic coating to keep it from getting damaged and prevent print marks bro….
Yep, I did ceramic already , here is that video , did it in 40$ DIY. ua-cam.com/video/AT9OirQXgy0/v-deo.htmlsi=L8_eH8un1KEsPDez

Love the color, music and light show 😊Subscribed!
Thanks so much 😊 ...
Much better than stainless steel in so many ways.
Gloss Black turned out super. I always had that in my mind before I started wrapping it.
