I just finished a test of 7 pillows, two weeks per pillow for a solid test. I am a side sleeper, I found that the Helix adjustable pillow, king size with cooling top by far the best for a side sleeper. The adjustability and the two different support methods are by far the best. And I am not a professional reviewer.
Tall pillows make my neck hurt. Then I get lower ones and my shoulders hurt. Harder gives me a headache and to soft does. Then, if the filling is lose and moves around, it causes me problems. I can’t win.
Like everyone I know , we’ve tried SO many pillows to help get a better sleep ; Casper / Purple/ Contoured Pillow with arm rests and the list goes on . I’m a side sleeper that toss and turns due to shoulder pain . I do have a disc in my neck , so I’m looking for a pillow that not only helps keep my neck aligned , but is not so stiff or formed , to help with my shoulders . I’ve been using a contoured pillow for the last 8 months and recently have been waking up with headaches . I carry my tension in my neck and shoulders so I know that that contributes to my pain . I’m looking for a suggestion from all your research and feedback from others for a pillow that is not so rigid yet supportive and has a “comfy” feel when laying on it . Your site is very helpful and full of so much information . I’m hoping you’ll have a great suggestion to a better nights sleep minus my morning headaches !
Hey Elizabeth, thanks for reaching out. What did you think about the Layla pillow in this video? It's got the plush-yet-supportive feel you mentioned, and is ideal for alleviating shoulder pain. It does a great job of conforming to pressure, but also offers that fluffy factor that'll cradle your head and neck. Personally, I've found this pillow to do a great job of relieving neck pain, and I can't recommend it highly enough. You also have 120 nights to test it out.
very helpful channel and videos. thanks also for mentioning that you are 5 feet tall, which i am as well, so i can use for reference when selecting pillows
The best pillow I’ve found. Is the Metaflow water pillow you can adjust it it gives you the support there’s nothing like it it’s also recommended by many many individuals and companies
My issue is I sleep on my Side but I twist on my tummy I guess .. so idk I guess what’s why no pillow works for me. And I’d love to see some pillows without that removable shredded memory foam.
Because my neck injury is in the back and I'm a stomach sleeper, my problem is that pillow for stomach sleepers looks to flat. Does it support those pressure points where there is pain? Lately my pillow has been getting flat and my hands are numb when I wake up from trying imitate a sense of releasing pain and pressure unconsciously
The way I sleep is kind of a mix between a side sleeper and a stomach sleeper. I’m not sure if I should get the Layla or the Avocado. The Layla looks AMAZING, I suffer from neck and back pain from sleeping often, I’m kind of scared to get the Pillow Guy pillow because it looks so flat. Kinda wondering if I should just try the Avocado
@@Nandi10896 Yes I did. It was too firm and never right, even after removing and adding the stuffing to and from the pillow. I’m currently sleeping on the Pillow Guy pillow and it’s much better. Not perfect, but I have less head and neck pain.
@@DanTheMan27 so I just wanted to update you on my find (in case you are still searching). I found an amazing pillow for me. Not saying it’s for everyone, but I love it. So it’s a cylinder shaped neck pillow stuffed with millet. Everything is organic. I absolutely love it! The company name is Sachi Organics. All made in New Mexico, USA
I ordered the spinealign pillow and never received an working order number / confirmation number or email. Then they wiped out my bank account since they had my card number from ordering and used it at target.
I bought the Spine Align pillow and I was disappointed. I really wanted to like it. -The foam moves away from your head through out the night and if you put more foam inside it, it just makes it feel too stiff. There doesn't seem to be any middle ground no matter how much you adjust the foam fill. It's because the side chambers are too long. They should be split into two, so the foam doesn't travel away from your head while you sleep. -The zippers are low quality so sometimes they bust open from the middle of the zipper. -Touching the pillow with your hands, it feels great... but I don't like how it feels on my head. Other people seem to like it, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. I should have returned mine with in the return period. I'm a side sleeper with a sensitive neck and I toss and turn.
@@Chorkymom I ended up using a Sealy Posturepedic pillow I already had. I think I bought it at Kohls? I am still on a mission to find a pillow I love. You could try the spine align. They have a return policy, but you will have to pay $20-$30 to ship it back to them. Just keep the packaging.
Hey Hollie W! So, I also sleep primarily on my side and stomach, and what works for me is the Saatva Dreams pillow. It's compressible enough to achieve a low loft for stomach sleeping, and foldable and fluffable enough to support me when I'm on my side. Big fan of this pillow (I actually have two of them). Be sure to check out the individual review of the Saatva Dreams pillow on sleepopolis.com. As far as the SpineAlign goes - yes, there are two side chambers for side sleeping, and one middle chamber for back sleeping. If you're someone who tosses and turns a lot, it might not be ideal for you!
@@Sleepopolis I had the same issue, I would categories myself as a side/stomach sleeper and only have access to a duck downa + duck feather combiation pillow which I am thinking of getting after seeing this review. It helps making a choice Thank you so much.

Would the easy breather sidesleeper pillow work the same as a reg shape queen size easy breather pillow. Or would the standard shape go to flat?

layla vs eli and elm side sleeper?
SpineAlign by Dr. Loth is new to me! Definitely worth a second look. Is it washable OR have a removable zipper cover?
im a mixed sleeper and i use the layla based on this review! han
No problem, glad I could help!
The easy breather seems to suit my sleep style the best
I have I have a genetic fusion what will help my genetic fusion for a neck like a pillow or something
I don’t understand the spine align pillow. So side sleepers only sleep on one chamber? That seems like a small little portion
you turn the pillow the other way bro
I’ve tired 25 pillows and my neck kills every single morning :(
I've tried several pillows as well with no luck.
@Holly_W_ Wow... this leaves 'professional' advice if you haven't tried that already...
Same! Have you found any good ones yet?
Pillow guy is my guy and I’m a guy that’s awkward 😆 thank you a good stomach pillow is what I need !

Maybe you ordered from a knock off fake website. I've ordered from the real spinealign never had issues.
I really want a super firm pillow. I’ve tired so many pillows. All kill my neck or my ear. I need hard I think

TUMMY SLEEPING IS BAD,
TRY SPINE, AND CHECK-OUT
NEW MATTRESSES.
Wtf 80-100$+ for just a pillow then it goes flat in one month. Wasted of money. Never spend more than 30$ for a pillow. Nothing not goes flat.
