Fighting an ANT invasion!!!

After a storm, ants may invade your home looking for food. Mix equal parts powdered boric acid and a sugar (such as corn syrup), and then add water. The mixture needs to be somewhat viscous, like corn syrup, so that the ants can eat it (more importantly, bring it back to the queen) without drowning. It will usually take 24 to 48 hours and you will see the ants disappear.

I made a bottle of the solution years ago and it doesn't go bad. I pour some out every now and then to deal with the ants.
