Face Hunter is the one deck I never get tired of. The variety of the many different plays you can make and the skill needed to outsmart your opponent at times is almost too surreal.
some hungry person who wants food IF I HAD ONE! Tirion with redemption will... give you two weapons? on turn 9? naaah Better play divine shield / deathrattle in the mid. Oh, I play redemption only because I dont have mad sciencetis, so that I can have full control when its played.
My favorite deck is patron warrior, love the way it was, love the way it is. It never gets old, just so good to play a deck where you actually have to think ans not just dump cards for face dmg.
Kylo Ren : Wow the stars look beautiful tonight Rey : Oh I know Kylo Ren : you know who's even more beautiful ? Rey : *blushes* Who? Kylo Ren : Darth Vader
+Kripparian : The thing with lottery tickets is a bit more complicated than that. Buying EVERY ticket will NEVER give you profit. But you can buy a sizeable amount of them, and dispose the numbers in such a way that you will have at least, like, 6 numbers right out of 7 at least on some tickets, + a good chance to actually win the jackpot. Even with the jackpot, with the 3, 4, 5, 6 right number, you make a profit. This is still used in lotteries where the prize increase : as it does, so do the prizes for 3, 4, 5, 6... right numbers. Above a certain amount, usually tens of millions, you'll reliably make money. But this kind of lottery is so "rare" that you have a good chance to encounter a team that has the same strategy than you, which instantly divide your profits by 2, making you losing a hella lot of money. So it's not as used nowadays as it was before.
Kripp's words of infamous wisdom about how the lottery works. "I saw a thing youtube showing if they buy every ticket they will win some money back" (yes it's called statistics) "... but that basically never happens anymore" (yeah every since the number of combinations went into the multi-million range, since that's not feasible to crank out nearly 300 million tickets)
"I am still a nerd deep inside basically" says the man who makes a living playing a card game based on an artistically over the top video game franchise perhaps most famous for its ridiculous pauldron proportions, wearing a makeshift face of himself on his t-shirt composed of twitch memes and emoticons. Who could have expected such a thing!?
I don't know if you seen the post i put in Day9's video several days ago but i just wanted to say that i really appreciate all of the content that you do Kripp and thank you for making hearthstone seem fun and interesting when almost everyone else is playing cheap cookie cutter decks. You are the hero that we need my friend :)
idk personally I never get tired of freeze mage, I enjoy it a lot and just the mere thought that is involved in playing the deck...got to legend with it and its the most satisfying feeling
The deck I never get tired of playing is a spell priest with summoning stone, the deck does reasonably well, and most of the victories are crushing - double summoning stone + holy nova is ridiculous!
The recent Jackpot was like $1.4 Billion. The payout was ~900 million. The odds of winning are always ~1/300million. A ticket costs 2$. Certainly you can do the math there. Even after taxes, assuming you could buy ALL the ~300milllion total lottery ticket combinations, the winner would receive at least 200million+ profit. The only problem is that some Austrailian corporation already did it. Now there's a limit to the number of tickets someone can purchase. I don't play the lottery myself. But TECHNICALLY, prior to it being won, the ticket had a higher value than the money used to purchase it.
I'd say fatigue priest is the most fun for me. Matches are never the same and you're usually left with a ton of options so there's always something to think about.
Decks I never get tired of : Dragon Priest (My homebrew version) Bolster Warrior Deck. My token paladin deck, aptly named Lieutennant Pallydan. Mech Mage
Mill is my favorite type of deck to play as well. (Milll Rogue in particular) However, there are not many guides of it on youtube. Mind doing a guide for it?
This deck is fun, I took out a brawl and threw in an iron juggernaut. When he comes in late game and you stack bran bronze beard that gives a free 20 dmg while your milling!
Yep, I really like mill/bounce desks and enjoy watching the FatWarrior games. Unfortunate I don't have enough of the cards that make the fun decks reasonably competitive tho :( Thank for the vid Kripp & co.
It is interesting that milling your opponent can be a huge factor in hearthstone, when something like magic it is usually irrelevant or helpful to the one being milled.
I recently picked up kiblers control warrior deck. one of the best decks I've ever played. has trouble dealing with rogue every once in a while. but is absolutely amazing against freeze mage...and deals with aggro....you can really only do so well against perfect draw aggro decks
The games are always different just because you play 30 different cards in the deck. Plus I've always loved handlock, because of the different decisions you can make each turn. But that's my theory on why Renolock is so fun.
I play this deck too! I play it without Elise tho. and I only run 1 brawl. i also do it with iron juggarnaut because once you get them to fatigue you can brann combo for 20 damage+fatigue so it works against full health priests and things like that. It also gets passed ice block. i haven't got the deck farther than rank 4 but it's not bad
People are gonna hate, but I love face hunter, SPECIFICALLY for the race against the clock, it's fun to see how much you can dish out with a good hand vs your weaker matchups. But other than that, deathrattle shaman has become a huge one. Baron + feugen/stalagg, eggs, reincarnate...gah, just too fun
I don't know too much about the lottery but I know 1 thing. The statistical benefit vs cost of buying 1 ticket over having none is huge. That benefit vs cost quickly declines if you buy more than 1. Your odds of winning will increase the most dramatically from 0 to 1 ticket.
I do think that mill decks are the coolest decks out there. Seeing decks that use unusual win conditions are awesome, even if being a virtual F2P player means I may never get to play those kinds of decks. I always am amused when I face up against a mill rogue.
This is arguably one of the most interesting decks Ive seen, aaaand way more viable than malygos spelldamage hunter. I think Im gonna craft the doomsayer and make this o/
It's EXTREMELY funny but there are stronger decks, I think that it's not really worthy but if you are a casual player it's the best deck you can play (murloc paladin is funny too)
Kript those cheap aggro decks are needed especially for newer players who are up against shit like renolocks and 10-15k dust control decks. Besides most of them are Tier 3 this season anyway. Having every game go for 30min would get old very quickly, so aggro/face decks are needed for that contrast. It doesn't make them any less.
Hey Kripp, love your content! Maybe you can play silence Druid, you know, with fel reaver and wailing soul and all that stuff, rly fun and not even a bad deck.
probability of winning lottery * jackpot amount = expected gain 1:292,000,000 * $1,500,000,000 = $5.14 $5.14 > $2.00 cost so go ahead and play in some situations
+cubedude76 Expected gain = Propability of winning the lottery*(1-taxrate)*Jackpot value/expected number of winners Now I do not know how many people played so I don't know the expected number of winners, however in the specific case you are referencing there were at least 3 winners. While the total amount paid out in the 30 year annuity is expected to be 1.5 billion, the actual value of such an annuity is not 1.5 billion, but rather in the area of 930 million, which is what you can get today, or alternately what they invest for you to pay out the annuity. The tax rate is between 42 and 52 % or so, lets say 40 % for simplicity. So 1/292.000.000*(0.6)*930.000.000$/3=0.63$ would probably be a more accurate estimate. (low taxes and using the actual currently reported number of winners) Ofc there are also smaller prizes.
Super Hippo Yeah I treat it as a 6 drop rather than a 5 drop. Clockwork Gnome, Mechwarper, and Harvest Golem have some great synergy. If you can play harvest golem the turn before, you can even activate the shield for 0 mana by sacrificing it. And once you get it going, it's super sticky. Of course, it's not a net deck, and there are too many counters to make it viable. Like inner fire priest. But it's still dang fun to play.
The lottery is a low risk/high reward game. When $5 can turn into $1 billion, even if the chance of winning is almost nothing, people do win and it is life changing. It is worth playing the high jackpot games

I both love playing this deck, and watching Kripp play this deck. It's a ton of fun.
Love this deck- been playing it for about a month but not even close to being fed up, thanks Kripp

I love Kripp's mill decks. I play a ton of mill warrior because I like to play extremely slowly in card games, it's just fun to me.

Woow golden Christmas tree!!!! I want one
I really like watching you playing mill-decks!
Why is this almost 2year old video recommended when watching a new Kripp video. Especially since I already watched this.
UA-cam stahp.
How does Kripp just talk straight through with no breaks and no script. It's quite impressive.
It is interesting that milling your opponent can be a huge factor in hearthstone, when something like magic it is usually irrelevant or helpful to the one being milled.
I thought the video was decks I never tried playing and was kinda disappointed, Kripp plz make one

Great choice1 I like milling the most too!
The deck I don't get tired of is Renolock.
+Jesse Spika me neither lol
+Jesse Spika Yeah me too. Its a nice spin on handlock, and it actually has a chance against most decks.
The games are always different just because you play 30 different cards in the deck. Plus I've always loved handlock, because of the different decisions you can make each turn. But that's my theory on why Renolock is so fun.
+Jesse Spika reno warrior babyyyy
You know whats better, battleno lock
I laughed so hard when the face shaman has chosen the heal as hero power xd
I've said it before, I'll say a thousand more times. I am excited every time I see you make a video
my fav card too, when i started i tried to put it in literally every deck
Great clips! Just milled an enemy's Map myself playing Mill Rouge.
Rouge ? ;/
tempo mage is fun to play, especially when you're ahead, and get endless cabalist tomes!
Bots can definately concede on their own. You can set triggers for when your bot concedes, like both life totals, your rank etc...
I play this deck too! That shaman aggro bullying was gold
Too bad it was a bot
+Tossover6 this is a hack?
+Leo Beurtheret No,Some people make bots for decks that take no skill to play to farm gold and wins
I also love face hunter, that moment whent they think they got me at 5 hp (face hunter) i drop reno and heal fully, id love to see there face
I don't know too much about the lottery but I know 1 thing. The statistical benefit vs cost of buying 1 ticket over having none is huge. That benefit vs cost quickly declines if you buy more than 1. Your odds of winning will increase the most dramatically from 0 to 1 ticket.

I want so bad to play this deck, but i need LoE and 3600 dust :(
It's EXTREMELY funny but there are stronger decks, I think that it's not really worthy but if you are a casual player it's the best deck you can play (murloc paladin is funny too)
And a small loan of million dollars..
+RafaelCDinardi Yeah I fell ya. I've always wanted to play the classic control warrior but I'm missing like 5 legendaries.
gold* but its...easy to get gold
+TopRameen Only five? Not bad, you only have to open 200 packs - guaranteed 5 legendaries my friend!
Kripp is such a stand up dude
Kript those cheap aggro decks are needed especially for newer players who are up against shit like renolocks and 10-15k dust control decks. Besides most of them are Tier 3 this season anyway. Having every game go for 30min would get old very quickly, so aggro/face decks are needed for that contrast. It doesn't make them any less.

probability of winning lottery * jackpot amount = expected gain
1:292,000,000 * $1,500,000,000 = $5.14
$5.14 > $2.00 cost so go ahead and play in some situations
+cubedude76 You trying to make me look bad?
+cubedude76 As if the jackpot was ever that high lol
+cubedude76
Expected gain = Propability of winning the lottery*(1-taxrate)*Jackpot value/expected number of winners
Now I do not know how many people played so I don't know the expected number of winners, however in the specific case you are referencing there were at least 3 winners.
(low taxes and using the actual currently reported number of winners)
Ofc there are also smaller prizes.
BerryBerry just played into your control deck Kripp. I was surprise someone on that rank would be that stupid but a bot would make sense.
"If dolphins are so smart, why do they live in igloos?" - Kripp 2016
Kripparian Archenemy of Jadeidol!
I'd like to see decks that you never get tired of playing against
Some really humorous salt in this video, Kripp!
Good guy Kripp, gives the chance to win to a shaman
My favorite deck of all time has always been inner fire priest, even though it's almost never used
Mine would have to be the silver hand recruit pally
Super Hippo
My favorite paladin deck is mech paladin. Cobalt Guardian is such an underrated card.
Infinite divine shields are so fun
sladikk True, although he is pretty squishy if you can't get your mechs out
Super Hippo
Yeah I treat it as a 6 drop rather than a 5 drop.
Immediately knew it is going to be Mill Rogue just by the title.
The lottery is a low risk/high reward game. When $5 can turn into $1 billion, even if the chance of winning is almost nothing, people do win and it is life changing. It is worth playing the high jackpot games
I wish I could play control warrior it's so fun going to fatigue those super long games are so much fun
