Best way to make sure Face Hunter goes extinct? Play the slowest deck possible, rope every turn and make sure they have to deal with your shit for 20+ minutes. You make them waste time so others don't have to deal with them Kappa

chrisberg2 I think that's actually worse than playing face Hunter. Sure I can understand, that it's annoying to play against face hunter and lose, but in the end of the day it's just another deck like every other, yeah it's easier to learn than most decks but it still takes some skill to master it and bring it to legend. So while Hunters just play a deck YOU don't like to play against (I always enjoy crushing them with warrior), you actively try to ruin their fun.
I try to make em see reason and play some other deck! Facehunter is the only deck that ruins my fun.

Joshua Olesen yep the reason everyone hates face hunter. It's not that you did anything/ built any deck to beat them, but that they somehow drew badly that they lose. If they draw into traps instead of scientists and dont get their weapons, unleash, and kill commands early there may be a chance you can win.
Literally just found this video today. The math on Heal Bot is insane. Assuming a perfect game, here's the math on it.
2x Heal Bot + 2x Shadowstep + 2x Gang Up + 2x Vanish on a 7 Heal Bot board = 2 + 2 + 6 + 14 = 24 Heal Bots total. At 8 health per Bot, that's 192 health. And the best part is, if you add in a Baron Rivendare, your Vanishes only count 6 bots each so the total goes to 22 bots but at 16 health per bot that becomes 352 health just from bots. This is only potential though, and not representative of what would actually happen in a game, but holy shit that's some insane healing.

Suddenly Artosis grabs his pants violently and reveals a handful of extra 1/2 daggers and starts carving trophies to hang upon their walls. "Extra BM?" kripp says. Artosis looks back in Kripp's eyes filled with glee and hands him a cut-off toe. "Extra BM!" he replies. The two who are among the greatest of hearthstone experts proceed to walk off together towards the sunset, with their glorious ultimate 20% win ratio.

In the name of everyone who hates Face Hunter...God bless you guys, this was so fun to watch.
I see a lot of people complain about face hunter in the comments, but why? At the end of the day it's just another deck like control warrior or freeze mage, the people who play it have fun with it, and i agree, face hunter is a fun deck. The point of the game is to have fun playing, winning is just a potential bonus. You guys should all relax and stop being try hards if it upsets you that much.
Denn Green III The problem is that Face Hunter is super hard to counter and it gets even harder if you dont have that much of a good deck.Its a way to play,yes, and sometimes a counter will come but till now its super annoying
Taunts and removal basically, that's what screws me over when I play hunter. You could also play hunter yourself too, hunter cannot counter itself lol
Removal normally doesnt work,a lot of those cards are designed to do one time dmg and than see how they got removed.For the taunts they often have some remove or a silence
Honestly the only thing that makes hunter any different than the other classes is the one extra damage on the hero power that makes him seem extra bursty. But really all it is, is throwing down low cost cards and running them into the face, you can do that with any class
Kinda vut those two dmg is the double dmg.Its just this bit more which makes it so good

The best feeling is, when you play against facehunter as handlock and can play molten molten sunfury really early on and he just doesn't understand, what just happened!
That last secret could've been Freeze Trap, thus ensuring VICTORY! We will never know :(
I play scarabs in my mill deck for that exact reason, and I usually play this way against mages too. If you fill their hands, they just blast your face. Use your snaps to bounce scarabs and healbots instead of coldlight oracles, and focus on choosing battlecry cards that synergize with vanish. It usually works well for me.

the reason he lost game 1 is because of his refusal to attack the trap, until the hunter already had a bow equipped, also preventing kripp from attacking with his board

I once lost to a Mill Rouge with Face Hunter. The rogue got me down to five cards before dealing lethal damage to my face. Antique Healbot was played at least five times.
Hello my name is Huntard! I don't know how to play, so I just target the face. When it says Error 404 Face not found, I panic and I concede.
Something about this video makes me think that chat was spamming "KISS" the whole time that close to each other.
I experimented with this mill deck (~120 games) with a couple tweaks (I hate mukla, good in the matchups youre already good against, bad in the same fashion) and I actually had a really good win rate against hunter. I highly recommend it, mill vs face is the ultimate trollage for huntards and nobody likes those twelve-year-old mouthbreathers. It's a gaming experience that transcends genres. That and control warrior and priest were my best matchups.
I was about 70% against hunter but only 10% against mech mage. That was my bad matchup and that seems to be all I run into on ladder. For what that's worth. But against hunter, if you can gang up a healbot/belcher (one of my swaps) you win. Just gotta hold out until then and you usually can unless you get a horrible draw and they get a good one to speed up the turn timer.
For what it's worth if anyone's interested, I cut a deadly poison (the second is weaker against rush and stronger against midgame, lots of rush right now) and cut mukla and added a second sabo (wins games against pally/warr and helps against hunter without losing much value and in every other match except mech mage with the rattles on rattles on rattles) and a belcher. I also experimented with cutting a couple other cards (second vanish was one, can't remember the other attempts) and adding si7 and/or earthen ring to try and bump against mech mage, but I didn't have much luck whatever I did against that deck. They just have too much burst to deal with with face tank rogues. Three hits in early and you're dead on turn 15 when they draw their burst if you try to turtle up. If you try to mill their cards are cheap enough they can match your dumpage.
And for further experimentation, I hybridized this deck to try and make a more aggressive rogue control. More creatures and whatnot. The main bonus was flexibility for the gang up to stack my decks against different classes in the middle of the game. It changed my win rates but I still lost to mech mage. That version was better against druid, shaman, and priest. So if I ever end up in tournament play and I bring two rogues, you know what deck to play.
Also, overkilling by 18 is awesome.

Massive misplay not to trigger the explosive trap with the dagger when the board was empty. It was the obvious play imo. Would have definitely won the game that way.

If you run Ysera you can also get Dream a bunch of times for even more. if you run Lorewalker cho and manage Copy your spells you can get even more, but only if the enemy is stupid enough to give them back to you, which he might because Face hunter has a lot of charge minions. Basically there's potential for a stupid amount of healing, and it's not capped by your spells, it's capped by the amount of healbots you can play before Fatigue Damage one shots your face.
