How long did you Say to cook the Wonton for? I think I heard 4 to 5 mins. Is the Raw meat done in that Time? That seems like a little time to cook. Thanks

It's common for wontons to fall apart when cooked, especially if they're not sealed properly. Make sure you pinch the edges tightly to prevent them from opening up while boiling. As for the number of wontons, it depends on the size of your pot and how much broth you want. Start with a few and adjust accordingly!
Yes, absolutely you can just add chicken broth without any water. By boiling the wontons in a separate pot of water the wonton soup has a clearer broth when serving.

@@Cripples23 that's the core ingredient on authentic Cantonese version. But most of American versions so called wonton just skip that. Also because the fish powder is expensive also. You can google what that is

No sure if you ever went to any Chinatown for a wonton noodle and ever wonder what the soul base made of. It is a simmered pork back bone soup with roasted dried founder fish.
Could I use egg roll wrappers in place of the wonton wrappers? It would be a thicker noodle consistency, but would it ruin the soup? I just don't want to have to buy more wonton wrappers....and I already have egg roll wraps in the freezer. Im lazy i guess..🤣
The "Secret to Life-Changing Wonton Soup" is the broth/stock made from scratch with dried fish powder and pork bones. Or you can cut corners and make a half baked version.
