Anthony Garguila (gar jew la). Anthony and Eli's parents are long time friends. So Eli has known Anthony since he was born. Left to right... Cesar De La Rosa (34)- baritone, tenor. Geoff Castellucci (43) - bass, arrangements. Anthony Garguila (25)- tenor, guest. Eli (elee) Jacobson (43)- tenor, rock tenor, lighting, arrangements. Layne Stein (43)- beatboxer, baritone, arrangements. Co-owner of Pattycake Productions with former member Tony Wakim. White Stripes are the original singers of this song. Geoff did an excellent job replicating Jack White's bass guitar. The original is awesome as well.
Anthony is in their video "Creep" as well, and "The Wellerman" and "Golden Hour" and several shorts. Quite a talented and passionate young man, his voice is both beautiful and even heart-rending at times.
This is the 3rd episode of VoicePlay's post-apocalyptic trilogy. It starts with Warriors (Imagine Dragons), goes to Dream On (Aerosmith), then this one. It doesn't really make a difference as they have the same feel but are not connected. You will find that Layne has the moniker of VioLayne, J None also plays some of his violin in Warriors w/ Layne.
You might also want to check out Seven Nation Army played by the pair of Croatian gentlemen known as 2cellos. These handsome young men play everything from classical to heavy metal on just their two cellos, with a few drums and/or keyboard in some of their live shows, but its usually just the two of them.
Ooh, I remember when they were on "Glee!" They're awesome! A pair of handsome young men, as well, which doesn't matter, of course....but it doesn't hurt, either!🙃
This is legit one of their best covers in my opinion, they add so much to the original that other than the telltale bassline, you would think its a whole different song! As for suggestions for more, I think you should do a thing other reactors have done where they watch several of the VP shorts/minis in one vid
And since you are a pirate, you could do a reaction To their Minis inspired by the Disney parks: YoHo (It’s a Pirate’s Life for Me) and the dreaded Tiki Room (I hated that song as a kid but Cesar’s antics alone are worth it).
Awesome reaction like usual.^^ Still gonna suggest the low bass cover of "The Song of Durin" by Colm McGuinness, Jonathan Young and Bobby Bass. I think you'd dig it.
Woohoo!! Caught it right away. Be back gotta watch! The beat...they play this song at a LOT of sporting events and such, that's probably where you heard it. This is part of a series of videos. They do this post-apocalyptic theme on a few songs. Warriors (Imagine Dragons cover when Earl and J None were members of VoicePlay and VioLayne is there!), and Dream On (Aerosmith cover, with Omar Cardona). Anthony (the guest in this video) has done a few things with them. Wellerman and Creep are two good ones. You pronounce Anthony's last name as gar-jewl-a (or very close to that). YES! Layne is a human sound machine.
@@RandumbTom Added more as I watched...LOL should have waited to edit until end. There are songs on here that you might be interested in that tie into what you were saying. :) And thanks, again, for being such a fun reactor! I'm having a blast watching your videos!

Also their cover of Thunderstruck by AC/DC, the live version is incredible and the official music video is a lotta fun ❤

@@ThouShaltNot I love the way they cross time periods.
Still reminds me of the movie Warriors.

I couldn't help but notice you have another video game theme song to do of Enemy (Imagine Dragons from Arcane) from voiceplay
I absolutely have too
How did I miss this reaction? Oh, yeah, I got teeth pulled.
I know you will love this one.
