This makes me feel much less intimidated by my owned TBR. Don't feel ashamed! Its part of your job! Also, Under the Whispering Door would be the one I'd suggest prioritising. Its one of those that you think its fine or you love it. I was in the love it crowd
I just loved how you started the video singing "we don't talk about Bruno" 😁😁 I love Encanto, and I just have to say it: you look like a twin of Lin Manuel Miranda 🤯
The way this video just made me max out my library loans. 😂 So many books, so little time!! I've been really into graphic novels lately; My Brother's Husband really stood out to me for some reason, though I know nothing about it. I'm excited!
I read Six crimson cranes in two days, it was super unique and I was stuck in the world the author created. While I was nearing the end I kept thinking/hoping/wanting a sequel....that's when I know its a 5 star book for me ;) Love your videos!
Thanks! Now I'm feeling not so bad for hoarding my books. I spun the random number generator five times for you (May it help or not. Who knows? 🤷♀). These are the books it presented: 105 - Anya and the Dragon 280 - The Titanic Detective Agency 359 - Ottilie Colter and the Narroway Hunt 517 - Girl in the Walls 647 - The Raven Boys (Technically some book in the middle of this series, but one has to start at the beginnig, not? 🤣) It was very generous because it didn't touched the big series in the middle of the video. Happy collecting (Because: It's not hoarding if it's books! 😆) and have fun reading some of those gems!
WOW, that is a pretty hefty TBR.. You mentioned it took 2 hrs, but that was very impressive. Thank you for sharing. Loved the singing & dancing at the begining :)
Honestly, all of the Encanto songs need to leave my head but they never will because I just keep replaying them over and over again! Why must they bes so good?! Also, almost my entire bookshelf is unread but I'm trying to get better at reading them!
The last two songs of magic books are both incredible. Especially A Vanishing of Griffins. A mouse called miika and Oliver Twist are also some of my favorites. The boy, the mole, the fox and the horse
Oh! I love love love Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library... anyone who loves to read will find it so fun with allusions to all kinds of books you are familiar with. Additionally- Cornielia Funke is so good and one of my favorite middle grade authors- Dragon Rider is fantastic. My bookshelves are very similar- you are not alone!
Lost in A Book, Unbirthday (and the rest of the series), the invisible life of Addie LaRue, Doctor Sleep, Salem’s Lot, Hitchiker’s guide to the galaxy series, Dark Matter, Bird Box is on my TBR list too!!!
I was feeling so good about my shelves and then remembered my cart. Its amazing how many books you can get on a cart. 😭 Good luck reading, you have many of my all-time favorites in there.
Thanks for getting Encanto songs stuck in my head again. Though if I am being honest they've been stuck since I watched the movie not only once but five days in a row. What a great collection you have.
I have been on a huge graphic novel kick this past year, and When Stars Are Scattered, the Okay Witch, The Promise, Tea Dragon Tapestry, and Stargazing are AMAZING. Hooky and The Magic Fish are on my tbr as well, so I'm looking forward to see you read those!
Read the Griffin Gate series and Harley Hitch! Also, Peculiar Incident on Shady Street, Greenglass House novels, finish the Roar series, and the Train to Impossible places series. ❤️
Wow this must’ve taken so much time/editing, you’re incredible! 🙌🏼. I’d love to see you read Legally Blonde/The Devil Wears Prada/Jaws/Jurassic Park/The Shining/Pride & Prejudice etc; and compare them to the movies! Sort of like what you’ve done with the Disney classics 😊

We don’t talk about Bruno has been stuck in my head for days and I put this on right before bed when it had finally left my head and then it immediately makes a comeback 👿😂
Wow, that's a lot! I have read, and highly recommend, The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, Anne of Green Gables, Take Back the Block, When Stars Are Scattered, Stargazing, Harbor Me, The Secret of Nightingale Wood, Second Dad Summer, The Only Black Girls in Town, El Deafo, The One and Only Ivan, the 2 Ashley Herring Blake books, Wish, and The Dead Zone. I would love to know what you think of the Bradbury book, the Grimm stories, Dracula, Carmilla, the Hocus Pocus book, Gregor, the Pratchett books, the Stroud books, and Recursion -- they are also on my TBR. Jekyll and Heidi is a great name for a book! The commenter down below is correct -- you are a Miranda doppelganger!
Ok, top picks: Pride and Prejudice, And Then There Were None, Animal Farm, El Deafo, Recursion, Dark Matter, Felix Ever After, Dani Brown, Eve Brown... and continuing with Grishaverse to get to Six of Crows :- D

Six Crimson Cranes was wonderful. I really enjoyed it and I cannot wait to read more from Elizabeth Lim. And I love the Brown Sisters trilogy so hopefully you read and enjoy them all
The Raven Boys series, again I think you would love it. Don’t be ashamed of being a book Collector as well as a book Reader. I am in exactly the same position and I really am not fussed. Books are our thing whether some will just be looked at and eventually read or read as soon as they come in. One book I would like to see you read as well, only because I have got it and that is Cloud Cuckoo Land. I am bricking myself about reading it
Ooooooooo one of my favorite middle grades is the Podkin series and I haven’t really seen people talk about it….you should pick that one up! It’s the hobbit but with rabbits
Okay... How did you stay in the exact same place in front of the camera in between cuts of you picking up each new book? Did you take all of them out and put them in a pile in front of you, so you wouldn't have to move? MAGIC.
Books I think were good and you should read asap: 🙂 - Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde - Second dad summer - Gregor the overlander series - The inkworld trilogy (but I've already said that 600 times haha) - Twitch - The Christmas Carrolls - Stephen King (also said that 600 times haha) - Circe - RF Kuang - Deeplight - Grown - Felix ever after - Piranesi - Dark matter - The silence of the lambs - NK Jemisin - Loveless - Maggie Stiefvater Some of these and other books I was like: you still haven't read those? How? 😂 Best of luck reading all of these 😬
What should you read asap? Oh Gosh, where to start?! 😄 I will just write them down as you say them: The Boy, the Mole, The Fox and the Horse, Saga, My brother’s husband, Inkheart, The Beast and the Bethany, Addie LaRue, This Savage Song, Throne of Glass, Deadly Education, A Song of Wraiths and Ruin, Cemetry Boys, Fable, Daughter of the Pirate King, A Monster Calls, Six of Crows, Dani Brown, Nevernight, The Raven Boys Those I really liked / loved. I would love to see you opinions on Podkin One Ear (one of my favorites or 2021 that I read because of one of your videos), Cemetery Boys, and Iron Widow.
You really need to prioritise Dune as well as the Goosebumps series, Mr Mercedes, The Shining and Needful Things Gav. Good luck with your unread books.🤓
I would highly recommend Piranesi and The Fifth Season. Piranesi was in my top 10 of 2020 and The Fifth Season was in my top 10 of 2021. Also I don't remember all the Stephen Kings you had but I would highly recommend reading The Shining and skipping Doctor Sleep.
So many good choices! I’m reading The Mercies soon to fulfill a prompt for a sapphic readathon, so I’ll be curious to hear your thoughts on it in the near-it’s future!
I suddenly feel better about my ~300 unread. I am working on unhauling all those $1 sale massmarket that I've collected over the years. That being said, I'm going to try to read before unhauling but we'll see. Trying to "refine" the shelves.

The editions you have of those classic books are stunning. Just beautiful.
The way this video just made me max out my library loans. 😂 So many books, so little time!! I've been really into graphic novels lately; My Brother's Husband really stood out to me for some reason, though I know nothing about it. I'm excited!
You seriously have more books on your TBR than our entire local public library has in total. OMG.
Thank you so much for doing this. I thought I was the only one with over 600 books on my TBR list. I honestly feel so much better.
I read Six crimson cranes in two days, it was super unique and I was stuck in the world the author created. While I was nearing the end I kept thinking/hoping/wanting a sequel....that's when I know its a 5 star book for me ;) Love your videos!
I believe the sequel is coming in August or September
Thanks! Now I'm feeling not so bad for hoarding my books.

A Monster Calls is definitely a must read. That book made me cry! I think you'll love it.
You should do a long video with all the graphic novels and then the mangas. They’re usually quick reads. :)
