So I saw you have an Oregon plate, I’m in Gresham, I’m looking into getting a set the speed engineering headers for my C6 when they are back in stock, what shop did you use for the install. And do they work on C6 acorvettes?? Thx 🙏 for the video.
I had a local shop to where I live install it, but I regret it. I will be cutting off their nasty welds and buying a full header back bolt on exhaust kit and doing it myself in the garage.
@@TurboDrivenAustin oh no, not a good shop then, yeah after a little bit more research and talking to people I actually have the Corsa X pipe into the Corsa axle back extreme mufflers and with the Corsa system I have on my C6 the only long tube headers that will bolt up to the Corsa X pipe is the Billy boat headers. I didn’t know that when I spent 2, 400$ on my Corsa system. I talked to a lot of people in the northwest Corvette association.Culb and they said to use wongs performance & engineering up in Hazeldale Washington. I guess he is the best. when I put the Long tube headers on, I will actually be deleting the cats with the long tube headers and when you do that with the C6, it leans the engine out and will throw a CE light so it needs to be tuned. And I guess he’s amazing at tuning. A lot of corvette ppl use him.
Great video, Bro! I have the same headers for my 5th gen ZL1. You are correct about paying $1000+ for Headers. Also, my Speed engineering headers cleared my steering shaft, but on the passenger side, we had to give it a couple of love taps. But I heard people with the expensive headers had to give their header some love taps also. I rather love tap a couple hundred dollar headers than $1000 headers. keep the videos coming, bro. Just subscribed 👍🏾🙂
i have a bolt broke off in the head...will the shop still be able to install the headers?
Found u from FB… I’m putting mine on next month and can’t wait 😁
It’s incredible!!! I’m excited for you!
