Great idea! Have old plaster walls Been afraid to attach anything to walls. This is the answer. Ty so much for coming up with this idea and taking time to share it!
Oh this is such a great idea, thankyou so much for sharing it! Your Quality Control Manager and Project Officer seem quite competant and professional too 😅
Just thinking as the gets get older you might want to glue carpet to the steps , it just helps them from sliding , I know my old boy missed a lot when trying to jump on counter top, so made steps , but he was sliding, once carpeted he was fine . 👍

@@sassycassiesalaskanadventu2984 too bad they did not answer you. But you’re question with a couple of years ago and you probably have already found out the answer Of course it all depends on the type of wood that you purchased for those planks and then you have to purchase the wood for the steps and the brackets
Jt Rose Yeah, I would definitely carpet AT LEAST the stairs/landings as a cat might slide and if there is carpet they have something to grab to pull themselves back up....
Cool idea! I’ll have to look over the situation in my home to see where something similar might be implemented so as not to make unnecessary holes in the wall.
I think I'll combine some of these ideas along with using from another video tall book cases. What's the book cases I leave them empty I love the idea of the concrete blocks in the bottom that'll keep them more steadier. Great idea thank you. With the bookcases with my jigsaw I'll cut shape so that they can go up and down easily. I have an older cat and a very young cat. For the older kitty I'll use some planks that I have and angle them for her. Thank you so much it's all coming together now You gave me the missing pieces I needed. Apartment living is not eating when you want to catify but it certainly is possible I'm so grateful for all that post you thank you
This is great for apartments. Love it! Maybe you can help me come up with a way to keep my cat out of the sink in the kitchen! She is a little raccoon! I've done all the regular tips and uncomfort seems to be worth it for her. I'm considering your garden lattice door.
i made the mistake of buying and installing all this cat furniture and walkways on my wall before going to the shelter, picking a cat and adopting it.. i ended up with (a very sweet and loved) floor cat - as in she doesnt like hights and prefers to be on the floor and underneath my bed and other furniture - who uses none of the stuff i bought.. dang it..
Sad that he did not reply to your message. I would think you want to do it on shorter wall because that would be my concerned the planks bowing after a while
This is a great idea and I can't wait to try it. Thanks for the video. p.s. you might want to think about putting carpet (indoor/outdoor) on the steps. It would make the cats feel a little bit safer with their footing. Peace!
That was amazing, thank you! I wish someone would come up with a way to make walkways and perches with out power tools for those of us who don’t own or can’t afford them.
this is a great idea especially for those who rent a place, however, it might be a bit difficult to transport all these pieces when moving out. But again, no holes in the wall :)
Great idea, glad you covered the concrete was worried kitties would fall on it, is it soft enough? Rope along a larger part in middle may be fun for them.. my kitties leap heights like their the flash lol bouncing off of everything, would need more levels lol
That's a great idea thanks! I'm curious though to know how much your cats weigh, and what type of board you used because they are quite long and only bend without breaking.
This is just what I needed to catify my apartment without all of the holes in the wall. THANK YOU SOO MUCH!
Cats always need a perch to be high up to tower over and gaze upon the peasants every now and then.
Sora Kuroda TRUE
We can be quite amusing. now and then.
This is a great idea. I can't drill any holes into the walls because I rent an apartment. Thank you! Glad I found your video.
0:53 "Check with quality control officer" 🤣🤣🤣 So true!
Smart! Reason I never did cat shelves, all the nail holes.

12" wide, and enough to nap on sure, but the overhang of tub at 1:43 has me cackling. This is so smart and such a cool idea!! What lucky kitties!
This is lovely and so im so happy you had the supervisors there to male sure it all came together
Amazing cat space love it thnks for sharing
That is absolutely brilliant, you're a genius! I hope it continues to pass the stringent audits of the quality control officers :)
Wow! This system looks fantastic in that it has minimal impact on walls I think. You've given me lots of inspiration. Thanks 😀
Looks so much more simpler and affordable then some other things I've seen. Thank you!
I really like the fan mounted to that post. Those fans have great output.
Oh this is such a great idea, thankyou so much for sharing it! Your Quality Control Manager and Project Officer seem quite competant and professional too 😅
Thank u so much, I've been looking for something like this where it doesn't have to be permanent in my home. Awesome job

Really nice. This addresses a need of many cat owners. Also, you have adef out of the box solutions. Great!
Thank you so much for posting this I'm trying to find an idea for a catwalk to not have to drill into my walls this is absolutely perfect!
I'm gonna have to try this when I move to new apartment. I bet she'd like being able to survey from above when guests come over.
That's extremely clever. I plan to copy your idea for my two cats. I live in Oakland, CA.

this was great! Very ingenius. Loved your Supervisors, too.
Great idea thank you! Can use peel and stick carpet squares to give them traction for their claws
Jt Rose
Yeah, I would definitely carpet AT LEAST the stairs/landings as a cat might slide and if there is carpet they have something to grab to pull themselves back up....
Could also wrap vertical posts with sisal rope, not just the base.
Fantastic. Great idea
I love your idea, I have a 🐈 to I have fix my patio for him, he likes it.
So cool you are so talented and creative
Brilliant ! Thanks for sharing !
You're a wonderful cat-daddy so sweet
Cool idea! I’ll have to look over the situation in my home to see where something similar might be implemented so as not to make unnecessary holes in the wall.
very creative. I like how it didn't require any real modifications to the home.
Thanks for sharing. Most things built for cats require a good deal of tools I don't have. : )
Nice way to hide the blocks. Good job
Now that puts a smile on my face!

I like the part for the Qality Control Officer, the Inspector of the hole job

You had the right intentions though! Typical cat, hu!? 😃
Mette Trøgelborg rescue more cats.... one of them will want to play on the walkways....
Love it. This way you dont have to make holes in the walls everywhere.
Very Clever!! You're a Good Cat 🐱 Daddy!!

this is awesome for rental properties. thank you. xoxo
I want to put up some catwalks in my home. This gives me some ideas.
I love the concept and will def try this concept outside with my cats!
That is brilliant!! Thanks so much for sharing!!
How clever. Great idea! Thank you for sharing.
Would love to see an update on how the pieces hold up. Are you flipping the long planks as they bow or replace them periodically?
Sad that he did not reply to your message. I would think you want to do it on shorter wall because that would be my concerned the planks bowing after a while
If you add a 2 or 3 inch piece of wood (strip) on the face of the board, it will stop the bowing and give strength.
@@nexxterra do you mean underneath?
@@dcwatashi The edge facing the room, under or on the face itself wold work
You could use another vertical support post or two for long walls.
Black cats are so cute when they lick their lips. This is a great idea thanks for posting this video

Never thouht about using cinder blocks as weights for the poles.
Great idea! Thank you 😀

Such a good idea! Doesn't look too expensive either like some cat furniture you buy at the store 😺
This is awesome!

Yes that was my thought, you could put some of that sisal rope a couple of feet up. Just not so high that you have trouble replacing it
cats are so much fun :3
A job well done! :-) I can see you love your cats.
great idea! ty
