Hello everyone!
If you didn't know, I've been trying to get aquainted with using SynthesizerV a lot more! I really am enjoying making these english cover with Eleanor Forte. Synthesizer V is such an amazing vocal synth engine with a whole lot of potential. I would really like for this to get popular someday!
ERROR has been a song I've known for a long-time. My first exposure to it was from Cilia's cover using Namine Ritsu back in 2012-ish. I was blown away at how powerful the tuning, mixing, and the the voicebank was! Fast-forward to the present and I began watching a lot of Will Stetson's cover work. I am also a huge fan of his work and especially David's english translyric work. For this cover's tuning, I took inspiration from Will's singing and Cilia's work. Also, Towa from Hololive also did an amazing cover of ERROR that I LOVE a whole lot!
To top it off, I comissioned my good friend Atychi this illustration for my cover. I am so extremely happy with how it turned out! Please check him out on his twitter!

I should be more clear that this version of Ellie is her Lite bank NOT her full version. Her full AI version is very rich and wonderful to use for softer and acoustic music. I think due to her Lite bank being a higher pitch, its naturally brighter. You can do some nutty stuff by pushing her tension high and REALLY fast. When you pair that with some creative mix choices like a fast compressor and dynamic EQ on strong vowels, you can create a stronger dynamic range with the AI bank's singing.
my favorite examples of the two coming perfectly together in harmony are on the notes for "song" and "colored" at 3:05 and 3:09

For some reason i remember making up scenarios with this EXACT cover about my oc’s whenever I was in the car listening to music. Listening to this is kinda nostalgic.

@@aliciamccorkell9977 I think her breathiness at the very end is what got me. You're right, she's rather robotic throughout, but I appreciate how clear her words are. Perhaps it's not the most realistic cover, but it's very well made and I think Eleanor delivers on the power that is needed for this song, though that's still a subjective opinion.
And I found that cover a few days ago, it's amazing!! Her AI voicebank is just incredible ♡

I love how this turned out. I've been listening to it for a little while now and I figured, hey, I might as well write a comment. It's very unique and sounds just as good as some of the stuff I've heard with her new AI voicebank, except since it's not her AI voicebank, it adds a ton of power and makes her sound really emotional. Sorry you didn't win that tuning contest, but this is amazing regardless!

I agree with you that the AI bank has some features the standard does not have. Its certainly evident when you compare it to my cover of "Desolation of Spring". I definitely would like to explore with other voicebanks and seeing how far I can push their power ranges!

Best english cover I've heard, I've always thought the Japanese versions to this song were on another level of amazingness (Ritsu 2018 being my fav). Personally, all the other English ones I've heard don't hit as hard. However , this single-handedly changed my mind on how this song can work in English, you nailed it, specially with the raw emotion and the voice breaking down. Thanks for this eye-opening wonderfulness on my favorite song ever made!
