I said it the day we signed Havertz for that money, that would be the signing that cost him his job. Absolutely horrible signing. 49 shots and 1 goal the past 2 games, yet he's confused as to how they haven't won? Beginning of the end for Arteta. He has to go.
To be fair to havertz he was pushed into being a striker at Chelsea when he wasn't signed as one and then arsenal signed him as a striker which he isn't. He should have been cover for if odergard got injured.
It’s easy to put all the blame on Havertz but wht about the other forwards in the team saka only has 5 goals martinelli only has 5. Trossard has 3 sterling has 0. Odegaard has 1. Jesus 3. Havertz has scored more than all of them were is the criticism for the other players
Arteta is a classless manager. A 10 men team defeated you and when that happens - another team played with more courage and heart than your team and you need to have that humility to admit that. His arrogance is reflected in his players and in wider fanbase. So happy that my manager is not like this… Every step of the way he admits positives in the opponent and is humble in defeat and victory
Some Arsenal fans are delusional over Isak. 1. They had a chance to sign Isak from Sociedad but turned it down, not only did they turn it down but they insulted the player in the process by saying he was only worth half the asking price, it came out that Isak and his agent felt slighted by that judgement…shades of Ibrahimovic being asked to undertake a trial come to mind. 2. They don’t even play a style that would suit Isak’s game, in his career he’s only ever been prolific in one team, Newcastle, and that’s because they don’t play him in a rigid position, go look at how prolific he is on intentional duty, it’s half the goal average and at 15 goals in 50 games he’s not even in the top 35 Swedish goalscorers at the age of 25, Marcus Allbäck was more prolific and Gyokeres has scored as many in half the games… he’s prolific at Newcastle because the team is high intensity pressing and he’s allowed to drift out to the wings, he’s allowed to operate as a target man and a false 9 and occupy traditional number 10 spaces all in the same game… if he did that at Arsenal he’d be getting in the way of Saka, Ødegaard, Martinelli, Trossard etc… Arsenal would almost certainly stick him upfront as a CF and have him wait while they fart around with set pieces and he wouldn’t be anywhere near as prolific because he needs to be involved and operate multiple roles 3. Newcastle don’t need to accept anything below a sky high asking price, they’ve demonstrated in the summer they are clear enough from FFP that they could table £65m bids for Guehi, their revenue has increased since then. 4/ Newcastle appear to be getting better and heading upwards and developing, Arsenal appear to be getting worse, why would Isak join Arsenal a team he’s beat multiple times as a Newcastle player? Arsenal would be better placed to go and sign a player like Osimhen who is an pretty much an outright striker but they won’t because that’s too sensible
@@paulenglish7500 That's exactly the point I'm making... it's yet another rigid position, he has plenty of moments for Newcastle when he is out on the wing or when he is cutting in from the wing to score, the key is that he isn't restricted to the single position in a match, this happened at Sociedad, they pretty much played him exclusively as a CF, the same has also happened on international duty, it's also worth looking at the goals he has scored more recently for Sweden, they haven't exact come against top opposition
I got confused with the title straight away. Why would you criticise someone for being objective and want them to be subjective in news broadcasting lol.
I remember when injuries weren't an excuse for Ten Hag, so why they are an excuse for Arteta? He is 6th season there and You are saying "Oh, they are lacking a forward". So what the Hell guy was doing for last 6 years?
it was not about VAR.. VAR doesnt advice about all those stupid yellow cards and not even fouls given to other side.. he was paid, it is obvious corruption
Arteta and the Arsenal board to blame. They could have signed Ivan Toney but they opted to stay with one of the worst makeshift strikers in Havertz and Gabriel Jesus who has never been prolific.
There's some good arsenal fans out there that see things for what they are, Martin is perhaps not 1 of them. Manchester United did all the right things for a change, I've slated my club because in the past they haven't. But I'm extremely proud of my club for deservedly going through to the next round. But defends Arteta for bottling everything. Joke of a pundit…you can tell how little respect his colleagues have for him. Not only on here but also on BT sport when he was sat with Rio and Lampard. Since Arteta's first summer window in 2020, he has sold 3 strikers and has arugably not bought 1 (Not including Havertz & Jesus, the last out & out strikers the club bought were in 2017) Attacking player transfers the last 4 years Bought - Willian Odegaard Jesus Trossard Havertz Sterling Sold - Smith-Rowe Nketiah Pepe Lacazette Willian Aubameyang Not only are the Striker options worse off over his time, they also have less of them £150 million on attackers from over £650 mill + spent & half of that is on Havertz alone

@@Stuffthatsfunny1 And thats on Arteta!
Arteta never said he’s confused as to why we lost. He said we lost because of awful finishing up top. Low life’s like you are hilarious 😂
He is the same as Werner that spurs have huge wages and not produce outside the Germany league
Man Utd have the better manager simple really.
It was only a week ago people were saying he should be sacked for having such a horrendous start
What a stupid comment. I watched the game as a Man City fan and Arsenal dominated.
@@David-zl9qw who won?
@@eddiejohnson2201Man U won but they will be pot less this season as per usual.
@David-zl9qw against 10 men you clown. Arsenal created nothing up until then.
Love how Jordan keeps it real!👍🏽
Keown blaming atmosphere and season ticket holders, what a bum
Yeah! Why on earth wouldn't season tickets holders there anyway?
@ god knows 😂
Lols😂😂
Arsenal lost at home to Utd after they had a man sent off and the ref clearly favored Arsenal.
And given a penalty too 😅
Can't believe Arteta is on £15 million a year
£41,000 a day that works out
Same
Yeah but he's won all those trophies😂
@ All of a sudden the Community Shield is equal to the champions league, only if Arsenal win it though 😂😂
2. They don’t even play a style that would suit Isak’s game, in his career he’s only ever been prolific in one team, Newcastle, and that’s because they don’t play him in a rigid position, go look at how prolific he is on intentional duty, it’s half the goal average and at 15 goals in 50 games he’s not even in the top 35 Swedish goalscorers at the age of 25, Marcus Allbäck was more prolific and Gyokeres has scored as many in half the games… he’s prolific at Newcastle because the team is high intensity pressing and he’s allowed to drift out to the wings, he’s allowed to operate as a target man and a false 9 and occupy traditional number 10 spaces all in the same game… if he did that at Arsenal he’d be getting in the way of Saka, Ødegaard, Martinelli, Trossard etc… Arsenal would almost certainly stick him upfront as a CF and have him wait while they fart around with set pieces and he wouldn’t be anywhere near as prolific because he needs to be involved and operate multiple roles
In fairness isak played a alot of games for Sweden out on the wing.
I think he means objective.
That's what I was thinking
Was looking for this comment. Worrying that hardly anyone noticed.
Trying to further confuse an perpetually confused keown
@@Support-your-local-team was worried during the stream, when I saw the title of the vid I lost faith
I got confused with the title straight away. Why would you criticise someone for being objective and want them to be subjective in news broadcasting lol.
The ref in that game needs be investigated. Absolutely horrendous.
Agree, bet he's mystified how he lost that game 😂😂
He was quite lenient when Ugarte should have been sent off
@@andyc7666for what?
Arteta can’t believe that they lost with 12 men whilst Utd had 10 lol.
I remember when injuries weren't an excuse for Ten Hag, so why they are an excuse for Arteta? He is 6th season there and You are saying "Oh, they are lacking a forward". So what the Hell guy was doing for last 6 years?
Kier will raise taxes to buy Arsenal a decent striker
😂
Leave it out wingnut
😂😂
Kier needs two footing from Joey Barton.
😂
Arteta's main issue is the fact that he's not a likeable guy at all.
In your opinion.
Many would happen to disagree.
Everybody likes Ange and Tottenham are in 12th
@@Longlostpuss No class about him at all. Wouldn't even pay any respect to Utd yesterday after coming through to win with 10men. Classless.

Similar to Keown then
Arsenal had 12 men United had 10
Havertz cost Arsenal £65M and they pay him £331,000 per week on a 5 year contract. Who at Arsenal signed that one off?
Wow he's on more than SALAH 😂
Arteta has spent nearly £800 million and starting to go backwards "Arteta Out"
Not 1 mention of that diabolical ref, cuz it was against United! Arsenal couldn't beat 10 men with 12😂😂. United win that game 3-1 with 11 v 11!!
Jim always looking at Simon to back him up , he’s so unlikeable
Jim is a.melt
So true. Very unlikeable person. Putting his journalism before integrity
of course he is unlikeable he is a Rangers fan.
Jim White is the biggest two faced suck up .
😂so sensitive
It shows how much the new breed of referees actually depend on VAR
Because that was a horrendous display of refereeing
it was not about VAR.. VAR doesnt advice about all those stupid yellow cards and not even fouls given to other side.. he was paid, it is obvious corruption
Imagine playing like peak mourinho but winning nothing
Peak stoke on steroids
Arteta and the Arsenal board to blame.
They could have signed Ivan Toney but they opted to stay with one of the worst makeshift strikers in Havertz and Gabriel Jesus who has never been prolific.
The referee couldn’t have done any more to gift Arsenal the game.
There's some good arsenal fans out there that see things for what they are, Martin is perhaps not 1 of them. Manchester United did all the right things for a change, I've slated my club because in the past they haven't. But I'm extremely proud of my club for deservedly going through to the next round. Arsenal do need a striker no doubt, last night they paid the price for not addressing it last summer
Arsenal didn’t help themselves taking 10 minutes over every set-piece
Against Newcastle the set piece coach was running all the way down the touchline. Ridiculous.
Yes. This. It was like American football.
Dominating possession doesn't win you football games, scoring goals does
When are teams and media going to stop disrespecting Man United. Yes we’re not the finished articale but like any team if you’re well organised and have a game plan then teams like Arsenal have to still beat us
5:05 was gold, I was waiting for Simon to call him out about Havertz, shut him up real quick 😂
Love Mondays. Keown is always great value 😂
That wink @ 0:52. Hahaha glorious.
😂 naughty but funny
Food, glorious food.
Arsenal’s two attackers Jesus and Havertz are on a combined £500k a week. Do people genuinely think they’ll bring in another £300k a week attacker?!
Rashford on near to 400k a week and not even kicking a ball.
@@rogerworgan6022 Nice work if you can get it. 😂
Im a hardcore gooner Simon jordan is right!,always liked him and very rarely disagree with him.Arsenal for 10-15 yrs have always been in with a great chance of title, but always just needes 1-2 signings more, should have been addressed last summer the striker problem. We were unbelievable last season, because White & Saka played all season on the right & odegaard waa on fire,we had little to no injuries then!!.💯
These 3 are like 'Last of the Summer wine
It was 10 vs 12 but Havertz was doing his best to make it 11 vs 11. Arsenals lack of a finisher is a glarring whole in the side, with or without Saka and Odegard
Arteta, it was incredible how we didn't win with 12 men yesterday..... ,a bullshit penalty, and ten men for an hour . Arteta is a set piece manager dave basset clone
I was at the game north bank lower atmosphere seemed good
not sure how it come across on tv ?
most of us are fed up with the same play and missing chances
45 crosses last night and maybe 4 passes into the box 🤷♂️
Keown has told us numerous times on Talksport that he sees his role on the show (and his newspaper column) to act as a cheerleader for Arsenal. How can we ever take anything he says seriously?
He doesn’t give a monkeys when Spurs have 11 injuries, but offers up excuses when Arsenal have 4 or 5. He loves piling on Ange Postecoglou - and trying to get the man out of a job. But defends Arteta for bottling everything.
Joke of a pundit…you can tell how little respect his colleagues have for him. Not only on here but also on BT sport when he was sat with Rio and Lampard. No one likes him apart from Arsenal fans.
Arteta thought they should have won because they crossed the ball 1,000times😂
Get Matt le tissier on the show . Great player
Keown : “That’s the sporting element “ Wow ! 😂😂😂😂
What’s keown constantly writing down? 😂
Grudges
I reckon its to write down big words that Simon and Jim use so he can look them up in the dictionary when he gets home...
He's drawing rabbits with helicopter hats on
He’s drawing Arsenal a trophy so they can lift SOMETHING at the end of the season
He's still keeping tabs on where Fergie is
This striker issue for arsenal has been going on for 2-3 seasons and they still havent sorted out.
Arteta should be proud of his men who took Manchester United to penalties.
Keown was magnanimous at the start but Jordan can’t resist piling into him
Keown clearly dreaded coming into work today
14 vs 10 at home and couldn't do it. Talk about the sabes. It was incredible. United sat on the edge of our box?
Arsenal got their first shot after dalot was sent off
Good on Keown for acknowledging Newcastle and Man Utd on their well earned wins 👍
As pointed out. He's on air..he "has to."

The fact he keeps referring to notes amd then still talking dribble makes it even worse
It’s funny being a united fan and watching the panic over arsenal when they are on same points with more goals scored and less goals conceded than last year lol wish we had those issues
If one penalty had gone the other way they'd be talking about a United "crisis". Football discussion in this country is so kneejerk moronic.
@@ktkee7161 If the Ref did his job properly, then we'd still be saying how bad Arsenal was.
Sir Simon = Top LAD Proper Clobber 💯 Facts
Jim’s passive aggressive style is becoming very irritating. He also seems to save it especially for Keown. Sides with Simon without a view of his own. Odd given his experience.
I thought so too
It's only funny when it's Keown though, he brings it on himself. 😂😂😂
Love it
As opposed to physically aggressive like he was his whole career
I love watching Martin Keown get flustered
Keown is the most biased in the game - and he is more an Invisible than an Invincible. It’s great to laugh at the clown.
Love it how we have taken out arsenal out of the fa cup more than any other teams 😂
I CAN LIE LEGENDARY simon 😂😂 pause he is the right OBJECTIVITY ALWAYS NEEDED
Ivan Toney being allowed to flit-off to Saudi Arabia...suddenly looks like he slipped through Arsenal's fingers...
refuses to be subjective? do they know the meaning of subjective v objective. refusing to be subjective means Martin is objective thus he looks at facts and not emotions. this the opposite to the point Mr Thesaurus is trying to make. maybe these were not on his words for the day list.

Jim white is so annoying he's 70 and acts like kid
‘Huffing and puffing their way to nothing’ is kind of poetic 😂😂
Arteta not taking responsibility is why arsenal will never win anything under him always someone else's fault
This is not a Punch & Judy Show - Too right - It's much funnier...
If you can’t be impartial, then go work for the clubs in-house media instead, because it makes everything you’re apart of simply both redundant & unlistenable.
Martin Keown sounds like he has Stockholm Syndrome, like he’s in a cult of mediocrity. Makes the station have zero credibility, embarrassing.
I cannot believe this. Within a matter of 8 months, I have agreed with Simon on multiple instances, with this being the third time.
To think this man is an Arsenal legend? He won titles for us and is happy to accept this mediocrity. He should be ashamed of himself. Martin is part of the problem with this fanbase. Too scared to call out what's there in front of his eyes and go against the club. Have some shame😤
This manager has taken us as far as he can. Its time for Arteta to go. Arteta is a fraud, 29 is the hill that Arteta's managerial career ends on
@0:31 Nah mate, we want you to just sit there and look pretty. 😂😂
Keown....the gift that keeps on giving😂😂😂
As long as I don't have to hear this tune after the Tottenham game. Then I will be pissed off.
Simon woulg argue with himself in a dark room...
Whether this is true or not - he was absolutely correct here.
Since Arteta's first summer window in 2020, he has sold 3 strikers and has arugably not bought 1
(Not including Havertz & Jesus, the last out & out strikers the club bought were in 2017)
Attacking player transfers the last 4 years
Bought -
Willian
Odegaard
Jesus
Trossard
Havertz
Sterling
Sold -
Smith-Rowe
Nketiah
Pepe
Lacazette
Willian
Aubameyang
Not only are the Striker options worse off over his time, they also have less of them
£150 million on attackers from over £650 mill + spent & half of that is on Havertz alone
Funny thing is auba and William went for free no profit but Barca sold auba lol
Objective?
😂😂😂 Keown is so consistently one sided. He is such a joke. Credit Neville and Keene for consistently calling it like they see it and never holding back on criticizing ManU, but Keown and other Arsenal pundits fall back into victimhood. He simply cannot hear himself.
The bottle club bottled it again
Arsenal fans want to back Keown but what he comes out half the time can't be defended.
