I lived in Carlisle/South Middleton Township from 1977 to 2014. It is a nice place to live, but I don't miss the allergies or the wind, nor do I miss the big snowfalls and ice storms that winter sometimes brings. The part of town where I lived made it pretty easy to by-pass car show traffic, but if you plan to move to Carlisle, you should take the car shows into consideration when deciding where to live. Car show traffic, especially for the spring and fall shows, is a nightmare.
Haha, yes, car show traffic used to be much worse than it is now. They have made a ton of improvements and they keep cars moving now. No matter what though, it's still a lot of extra people in Carlisle on those weekends.
I am coming to visit Carlisle!

I'm from Ireland, but Ivied in Carlisle as an exchange student in the early 90's. It's a great town. I used to go to the cinema and the MJ Mall.
Thanks for watching. The MJ Mall isn't around anymore. :( It was converted into a Wal-Mart about 15 years ago.

@@darcy6874 Yes. The YMCA just had a BIG renovation project completed. It looks totally different now! You can actually see it in "Old Mooreland Tour" video on our UA-cam Channel. The English Pub Is Market Cross Pub and yes, it's still here!!
