I moved here two years ago from Tampa where I guess there were a dozen high end dining experiences. But how often do you do that? Tampa has tons of clubs -- along with the shootings of dozens of people. The folks here are down-to-earth, well educated, it's small but at least you have quality conversations. And I've seen some of our Mennonite nieghbors as the most hard-working folks I've ever known outside of St. Thomas, USVI -- another small town. Ran across a local guy talking about how he loves his job at XXXX distribution center, how great the money is, how easy the job is and nice the people are and telling his former Nepalese coworker he ran into to come join him. I think it's the safest and sanest place to live in America right now. I don't even understand the negative comments or sentiment in this video. I mean, if you don't like it, trade place with where I'm from and go Tampa where it's about $2K a month for a studio, HOURS IN TRAFFIC to get to work and get shot at going out to dinner. Carlisle is heaven!
For allergies, try taking local honey daily. A spoonful a day year-round develops your tolerance. Been doing this for years, and only get sniffly on those really bad days when you can see the pollen in the air.
Because Carlisle is the TRUCK capital of the East Coast, and also because it is set in a valley, we hear that the air quality is VERY poor . Your feedback would be appreciated.
I agree, definitely a good place to retire. We just did a video on retirement communities in the Harrisburg area last week. We featured 1 community in Carlisle and 1 community in Boiling Springs. Thank you for your comment and for watching the channel.

I’m from the original Carlisle in England I didn’t know that our gaol house historic building here gassy a copy of it there in your city!
