I can't say enough about Ms Durham, a beautiful person in the 60s and a very beautiful person today. I re-discovered the Seekers because Judith continued with her music. I believe in blessings, and Judith is truly blessed.....God speed - Go Judith
First time I've seen Judith for decades. I've just fallen in love again! She still has one hell of a voice. Like Felicity Kendall she only gets better with age. Thanx for posting.
I just heard her for the first time tonight-- wow-- what beautiful music-- so refreshing-- I have heard the Seekers many years ago and I did not know anything about this beautiful lady and her music-- I will have to youtube all her songs--
Without question the best female singer the world has ever known, and ever will. A beautiful lady with the personality to match. Of course she was only a part of a group the like of which we will never see again. Thanx to all who put these timeless films on here.
As recorded by Judith with the Seekers in the 1960s, I consider this one of the five best pop songs of 20th century, as a result of Judith's great vocals.
Terrific woman. Terrific Singer. Terrific Song. She is a one off! We will never see the likes of her, or The Seekers, again. Glad they were in my life. Thank you Judithand The Seekers
I believe this is one of the best live performances by any singer in the history of popular music.Every thing about Judith has already been stated so often. The reaction by the audience, her musicians and by Judith herself says it all. One thing I notice is the way her Australian accent shows through on occasions during this performance, adding something extra to a faultless performance. I cannot remember ever hearing her voice sound as good as this. A brilliant clip...Thanx for posting.
I sure every Aussie that hears this song knows exaclty where they were and what they were doing, when they heard that the Seekers were breaking up, sad! I thank you tube for being able to possess the medium for the world and me to re-connect with Judith Durham and the Seekers, she, they have an amazing sound!
I fell in love with your voice and had never seen you never knew what you looked like when i was in school in the 60s Today i'm in still in love with that voice and the beautiful face to go with it.
the entire hall is flooded with tears... as the carnival is over while she is no longer young, and all we that kissed our first kisses in the sentimental stream of her beautiful voice is also not so very young any more. So thank you for being so gifted and give it to the world of human.
Yes she still has that lovely voice with just the odd note showing the passing of the years. There is no miming here- you can tell by the way the breathing is handled. It would be practically impossible to synchronize here. I love the look in her eyes - such goodness!
the most recognisable voice in music history. Not necessarily the best, but the most recognisable and sweetest. What makes her stand out, is her sincerity and inner goodness. She deserves to be recognised for that also.
This is the first time I've heard this and I must say,Judith has all but brought tears to my eyes. What a wonderful talent God has blessed us with in Ms.Durham.
The French had Edith Piaf. The English speaking world has Judith Durham. God bless and keep you Judith...Gods chosen instrument of beauty for the world!
I found a copy of The Best of the Seekers on LP at a rummage sale a few years ago. I just could not stop playing The Carnival is Over. Such a beautiful song, I became a fan of the Seekers after that.
I love nostalgia when it is presented like this. She really is wonderful, especially when you consider the wear and tear and general ageing on the old vocal chords after the best part of 50 years. And doesn't she look marvellous ? Must be that Aussi sunshine!
I remember "Morningtown Ride" from my teenage years, though I was not actually a big Seekers fan. Seeing her now however touches me deeply and I enjoy watching the many youtube videos. To those of you who have not seen the videos from the May 2011 concert in Australia ... check them out. Thanks to all contributors.
some might think this weird, but I am going to have this played at my wife's funeral, I love her very much, and ALWAYS will, we have been married 45 years and still as in love as when we met.....49 years since. GREAT work Judith..xx
She is incredible. I always knew she was good when she was with the Seekers all those years ago but this....this is wonderful. Her voice never aged. Her performance is a delight to watch and listen to. Judith Durham has to record again...be seen again...
I love you Judith. Always have since the 60's. Why didnt you marry me? You had your chance and blew it! You still look a tasty little Sheilah even after all these years. I am still a good lookin Bruce too for me age!! Judith Durham has something really unique. The Beautiful voice of an Angel packed up in a little Aussie body. Ive never heard anyone sing Rule Britania like she did, dressed in the Union Flag. Shame there is no video of it.
Yeah its true! She also put a red and white flag around her after with Maple leaf or something on it, And she said some thing like you cant say c**t in Canada :-) So started singing with her beautiful voice "O Canada". We all cried with emotion. Funny cos we aint Canadians. Thats how good Judith is. Then she wrapped herself with the Star Spangled Banner with a torch in her hand like the Statue of Liberty and started to sing America and got booed off the stage:-) cant please all of the people !
I can't say enough about Ms Durham, a beautiful person in the 60s and a very beautiful person
today. I re-discovered the Seekers because Judith continued with her music. I believe in blessings, and Judith is truly blessed.....God speed - Go Judith
God Lord....how on earth can she still sound EXACTLY the same as she did 42 years ago.....incredible voice, just incredible...
Judith's voice here is really quite incredible for 65 years old, amazing.
I lived in Melbourne when this beautiful song came out .Wonderful so many happy memories.
Nice to know that something beautiful from my childhood is still intact.
What an amazing voice for 65/66, she has lost nothing.
she rocks ... still good on her hope I can still sing when I am 78

If you dont cry when you hear her sing this song. You are not human!!
She absolutely sounds wonderful here, just like she always has.
THERE ARE FEW ARTISTS, (SINGERS) THAT CAN SOUND THE SAME AFTER 40 YEARS...A TALENT GIVEN BY GOD FOR US TO ENJOY...AND I DO SO ENJOY IT ....
As recorded by Judith with the Seekers in the 1960s, I consider this one of the five best pop songs of 20th century, as a result of Judith's great vocals.
Faultless - the world deserves to hear the sound of the The Seekers live once more.
Terrific woman. Terrific Singer. Terrific Song. She is a one off! We will never see the likes of her, or The Seekers, again. Glad they were in my life. Thank you Judithand The Seekers
Watch this and then go and watch her in a 1968 version. No difference !!!!! An awsome singer
You got that right, she is magic, when she sings, too bad we don't have more like her, God bless her and continued long life to all of the Seekers.
This should be sent into space to live for eternity.
Wow !.Her voice is as clear and strong as ever,,,,what a joy !!....Thanks for posting it.

One hell of a singer still after all these yrs :)
Still as beautiful a voice as in the 60's, long may she live.

I thank you tube for being able to possess the medium for the world and me to re-connect with Judith Durham and the Seekers, she, they have an amazing sound!
Judith may always keep this wonderful voice...
She still has it. voice of an angel.
Pure Golden Pipes like Agnetha Fältskog and Anni-Frid Lyngstad. Pure pure great voices - and this one might be the best of the three!
I fell in love with your voice and had never seen you never knew what you looked like when i was in school in the 60s
Today i'm in still in love with that voice and the beautiful face to go with it.
You can listen to Judith and The Seekers everyday and it's more enjoyable each time. Judith sounds even better today than in the 1960's.

Are u sure this isn't 1967??? She has never changed still pretty with her amazing voice still the same , WOW!!!
It never dates and always sound awesome.
She's well into her 60s but is still a fantastic vocalist! Well done Judith ..........keep on singing! As said earlier a God given talent!
68 years on and Judith's voice still sounds as beautiful as it did almost 50 years ago.
Judith Durham is a doll and her voice keeps getting even better -- how the blazes does she do *that*?!??

this was my dads favourite song, he was always singing it, i remember, that was the sixties, the carnival is far from over
I think the fact that her voice is still so clear shows Judith Durham is a serious musician who trained.
Superb. Frankly amazing. Lacking in only one detail: The boys... that is, HER boys.
She is AWESOME!
I would love to see her live.
A joy for the ears! Please play the UK soon!
She merges the best of pop and opera singing, plus her naturally great voice, making her one of the very few best singer ever lived.
Judith, I will love you till I die.
Fantastisch!!
Greetings from holland!
Who else can you name that can sing this beautifully whilst in their 60s?
I love nostalgia when it is presented like this.

@RTL777 I agree with your comparison to Agnetha & Freida, I just wish Abba could be coaxed into a reunion as the seekers did in the early 2000's.
Get in line...
@dw69ful And they're back. Watch for the return of The Seekers next spring!
Hasn't lost a single bit of the magic, has she?
I usually cannot help but sing along--but when Judith sings this--I shut up and listen -------no woman singer passes her.
