Replacing Inner PTO Seal on John Deree 6400

Replacing the inner seal on the John Deere 6400. Thought it was the outer seal but, it wasn't.
The Borescope that I use -- Wireless Endoscope, TUSAZU 2 Megapixels HD Wifi USB Borescope. It's gone up in price since I got mine, but at 20 bucks it's still worth it.

I have John Deere 7200 and the outer seal I replaced but still leaking like yours. I bought o ring to replace that piston that is on the spring but I grab it with my needle nose and it does not want to come out. I’m afraid to really get aggressive with pulling in case it is not meant to come out. Any advice?
