Phill, 2001, I went on a 5 islands cruise. We stopped at St. Lucia. We were only allowed to spend 3 hours on the island, then we had to rush back to the ship. We didn't get a chance to see Castries. ❤

This naturally beautiful island is the only island which has produced two famous sons, who won Nobel Prizes. Sir Derek Walcott, world famous poet, won the Nobel Prize for Literature. Sir Arthur Lewis won the Nobel Prize for Economics.

I got to see them from a distance, it was raining a lot when I was there so I couldn't hike up
