Thank you so much for these incredibly great tutorials! I have learned so much so far and am so grateful that so many steps are always explained and repeated. Thank you! At the end of the year I also plan to sign up for a membership. Keep up the good work ❤❤
I’ve been following and doing the tutorials and tweaking endlessly and bashing in other tutorials you continue to put out, it’s allot of work but a student is a student. It takes hard work. Thank you for all this. It’s given me a project that seems never ending but I’m having a blast and can’t wait to work my way through this!
what is that crazy snipping tool you're using?! also the tutorial is very nice, i already learned a lot through another one, i look forward to the day i can teach back fun and creative stuff back to the community like yourself and support you along the way😃
in the beginning when he mentions using the left mouse button for moving the camera but not having control over the vertical movement, if you hold both left and right mouse buttons down you can essentially pan your view giving you the ability to move the camera up, down, left and right and when you release the right mouse button you go back to the "flying" way of moving - i personally just use WASD
*Nobody ever had the idea of making a test map of Age of Empires II in Unreal 5. Have you thought about doing it? It would have millions of views since no one ever did. Try to make a single map, with a town center some houses, castles, barracks, and other types of characteristic buildings and units. It would be awesome.*
In the trailer there is a map of arabia, a boat, camels, there are elephants, etc. If you can do something like this, I guarantee it will have millions of views.
First I looked at the preview and thought "hmm its okay but nothing special, I am not going into this tutorial", but then when you rised your camera up and I saw the rotating rings and animated meshes I said "wow, that's interesting, I am into it!" :) Soon I will finish your Island tutorial(already watched It, now I am polishing the environment and making a cinematic) and will check this out. Make more interesting things like these animations please :)
@@unfgames Teacher in future can u please teach us how to import characters from sites like cgtrade or sketchfab and animate it. thanks for the wonderful teaching.
Good day, First off thank you kindly for sharing all your wonderful guides and creations with us. I'm a complete noob, I'm more than a bit lost on how to truly start a game open world. I'm hoping to go RPG (fantasy) side-quest solo play to start. I am not minding if its a one map kind of game or a fully I hope I am making sense here, there is just so much of this at once. putting myself throw youtube / Unreal Academie (joke) UE5 open new prog, start new world lvls, then I would start one of these Tutorials... (BTW LOVE them watch so many) I understand the changing colors, adding players, trees, houses etc still learning but understand. I am lost at the point where I am not sure how to really start the full open game world. Are the Tutorials environments where I would fully start it or are these parts I would make up and then link to? what one of your full libraries would you say is the best one to start? thank you again for your time
Amazing tutorial, thank you for uploading. To the author, I have one small inquiry. The way you say duplicate is foreign to me. Neither British or American English say it the way you do. Is that how they pronounce it in your part of the world? Not hating if so, just was odd hearing D'uhplicate lol.
if you were to make a 3d map in the same tibia camera, tibia has layers layer -2,-1,0,1,2... how would you make this type of map? separated by floating layer?
Its getting little disappointing in these types of videos all over UA-cam now just using premade assets and not making their own assets for their environments. Level design is for sure a fundamental skill for environment artist/ Level design.. Would love to see more people taking it to another level with making their own assets instead of Marketplace assets.
@@unfgames I don't mean show yourself making the asset step by step unless that's the intention of the video.. but maybe sped up and just show hey we can do more than just take a bunch of pre made stuff and get more creative. I would do videos like that as I can make assets, but I don't have time for that lol.. I more less just want to see what people can do with their skills and actually create unique environments. Or even maybe a collaboration with Artist from the community to create a environment with their assets and show case them on your videos. Something different to think about
This is an horrible Idea to duplicate meshes just to have proper shadows. It adds tremendous amount of geometry in your scene. Just check backface shadows on your models.

The title of the video could be: "Realistic Age of Empires II in Unreal 5".
You can use these trailer images as a base, then you would make the map in the same style. ua-cam.com/video/Ovt7d34_hRA/v-deo.html
In the trailer there is a map of arabia, a boat, camels, there are elephants, etc. If you can do something like this, I guarantee it will have millions of views.
Always loved Age of Empires II, a fan art in UE5 would be indeed awesome!
You do great work bro. Keep it up bro.❤❤

Hey man lets say i want to add some gemstones to steep walls or some plants how can i do that ? Foolige doesn't work with for some reason.
i think there is a setting on the foliage to paint on different normal angle, if not the best way is to create instanced groups to populate it faster

Making just one asset from scratch can take the whole video. Perhaps in the future we can do more asset creation if people are interested
