Put the kids under contact the schools should have the right to get a reasonable return from the training and knowledge bestowed to each player that take NIL money. Pro players have to meet this standard, sign a contract young men, if these agents are taking advantage of this system, this should be addressed by the Law makers. We all know the NCAA hands have been some what tied by the court's. Okay Lawmakers let's see if you have at least one ounce of entestanal fortitude to correct this poorly structured system that allows the Agents of the world to have free rain over this college programs. Also, and I said this then, the schools can't be involved or the boosters. So you get a nobody who has talked to the booster to talk to the kid and say, hey if you go to X school, you will get millions in endorsements. No, a booster nor a school rep said it so "technically" its not illegal. Thats what A&M did. Jimbo isn't lying when he said ...we.....did nothing wrong.

The current situation is unsustainable. College players have a much better deal than pro players and that makes no sense. College players are essentially unrestricted free agents now. One possible solution is to treat college players like professional athletes because that is essentially what they are.
Contracting players for specific compensation and length of time, that’s negotiated between the players agent and the university, is an obvious solution. NIL has essential turned college players into professionals. Players no longer have to pretend to be going to college for an education.
The NFL is a winner too. They now have a minor league system that costs them nothing. Amateur athletes no longer exist. The only real change is that paying college athletes is out and public instead of under the table.

Not to say that his example won't ever happen, but it's not going to become the norm. Players know who will be offered whatever, you're not going to have some random 3 star entering the portal for the same reason a borderlines 5 star WR who's star QB just went to the NFL. Coaches, Universities, & most importantly the NCAA kicked the bucket for so long when all players wanted was an agreed upon piece of the pie, all the "adult" know how much control they had off the money train & refused to lose a single cent. Now the law of the land is literally the wild wild west, which it should be tbh, but it's their own making 🤷🏾‍♂️. Coaches has been able to sign a 10 year deal, recruit a class, after that classes 1st year coaches "dream job" opens up, guess what they leave! Is that the norm no, but it happens, & if coaches can do that for no ey so can players.
