Beautiful glaze results Kim! I’m glad you were able to solve the blistering issues. Thanks for sharing.❤
Thank you 😊
Thanks so much, Kim for sharing your firing schedule. I will try it! Love that blue swirl mug with the Tourmaline! Everything was so great. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Audrey!
Great unload! And yay! No pinholes 😊 thanks for sharing
Yes I’m so happy, just about to start the kiln again, so here’s hoping it wasn’t a fluke 😊
wow, wow, wow! those glaze combinations!!❤
Thank you 😊
Dear Kim, I will try your firing schedule with my next Kiln load. I will definitely let you know how it turned out. Thanks for sharing your experience and skills. Much love Suza
Yes please let me know
congrats on good firing!
Thank you 😊
Hurrah! Glad you got the issue fixed!
Thank you! I’m so relieved 😊
At min 9:58 juste beautifull!!! Please do it again.
thanks for sharing very nice as always
Thank you 😊
Wonderful and all so very pretty! I had my first bisque firing last week, now I’m ready to start a glaze firing! So nervous. Of course, I tried diff glaze combos in some yarn bowls, so now I’m searching for large enough cookies! lol
I have several engobes but never used them. I see you used in bottoms of mugs, do I need stilts under them? They won’t adhere to the shelf? Or use cookies? I love the brown & black you used !
The engobe doesn’t stick at all to the kiln shelves!
Hope your first glaze firing goes good, I remember all the feelings, excitement, nervous and maybe a bit scared!
Hey Kim beautiful unload! U have given me an idea to pour pinks over a canister I’ve just started in honey flux so it will be dedicated to u next unload lol. Thanks! Nat xx
Awe that’s awesome Nat! I never miss your kiln openings, just love your personality 😊 and your pottery
@@undsethpotteryoh Thankyou that means so much to me!
So great results. Did you put Engobe under the Glaze on the top, or just the bottem?? Love to see your kiln openings
Thank you! The engobe is just on the bottom!
Thank you for sharing this great kiln opening! I was wondering, what stage put the mayco angobe on the pieces? I mean after the first firing? Or leatherhard/bonedry?
If I’m going to be dipping the piece in glaze I add the engobe, to the piece when it’s dry and then bisque! If I’m going to be putting brush glaze on I just add the engobe to the bisque piece which I prefer!
@@undsethpottery thank you! 🙏🏻
Thanks for sharing Kim:) How long did this firing take?
9 1/2 hours
Hey Kim! New follower here, is this the hoffman schedule?
It’s a little different but the Hoffman schedule works good as well! What I do is in the description!
The Jen’s juicy fruit mugs are gorgeous. I really love the cirrus flow pieces. They are my favorite for sure. I looked up citrus flow glaze but cirrus flow by amaco came up is that what you’re using?
Yes it’s by amaco
@@undsethpottery thanks.
Hi, may i ask - how did you get the beautiful texture around the platters? 😍
It is a ceramic mat that I ordered off of Amazon! I will ask Todd to do a tutorial today and will post later tonight!
@@undsethpottery thanks!
I've never used or familiar with engobe. Does it not stick to shelf?
No it doesn’t at all! Similar to underglaze but underglaze has a bit of flux so can stick but the engobe doesn’t! I love them!
What are your favorite dipping glazes ?
Baileys red 2, spearmint, white opal by mayco, winter wood, power turquoise, sandstone, raspberry mist, Jen’s juicy fruit, obsidian (to pour on the inside)
@@undsethpottery oh wow !
