    Wonderful and all so very pretty! I had my first bisque firing last week, now I’m ready to start a glaze firing! So nervous. Of course, I tried diff glaze combos in some yarn bowls, so now I’m searching for large enough cookies! lol
    I have several engobes but never used them. I see you used in bottoms of mugs, do I need stilts under them? They won’t adhere to the shelf? Or use cookies? I love the brown & black you used !

    • @undsethpottery
      @undsethpottery  4 місяці тому

      The engobe doesn’t stick at all to the kiln shelves!
      Hope your first glaze firing goes good, I remember all the feelings, excitement, nervous and maybe a bit scared!

    So great results. Did you put Engobe under the Glaze on the top, or just the bottem?? Love to see your kiln openings

    Thank you for sharing this great kiln opening! I was wondering, what stage put the mayco angobe on the pieces? I mean after the first firing? Or leatherhard/bonedry?

    • @undsethpottery
      @undsethpottery  5 місяців тому

      If I’m going to be dipping the piece in glaze I add the engobe, to the piece when it’s dry and then bisque! If I’m going to be putting brush glaze on I just add the engobe to the bisque piece which I prefer!

    The Jen’s juicy fruit mugs are gorgeous. I really love the cirrus flow pieces. They are my favorite for sure. I looked up citrus flow glaze but cirrus flow by amaco came up is that what you’re using?

    I've never used or familiar with engobe. Does it not stick to shelf?

    • @undsethpottery
      @undsethpottery  4 місяці тому

      No it doesn’t at all! Similar to underglaze but underglaze has a bit of flux so can stick but the engobe doesn’t! I love them!
