Girl get you some vicks Vaporub or a diffuser and put eucalyptus essential oil in it, it will help so much with opening up your nose. You can also boil some water, turn the stove off and lean over it and inhale the steam (you can add lemon or orange juice if you wish) and it works wonders. yessss! my family also use hot boiled water and lean over the water and inhale the steam method when we're sick. but we put a blanket over our body and the hot water so the steam wont escape out. It works amazing!!!
Also this is more of an old method but it help a LOT with a stuffy nose you boil On the stove some Potatoes and you inhale it while covering your face with a towel over the pot and sit like that for a few minutes
There is a mucinex that is specifically for coughing, i took it during my pregnancy because mucinex is deemed safe during pregnancy id definitely give that a try
I know you might not trust me but I would really recommend taking a bowl pouring boiling water in there and add salt dip a small face towel into it and put it on your chest and on your back and wrap it around with like a baby swaddle, and sleep with it overnight and to help better you can do that for a few nights. it helps a lot when I was A little younger than Emma‘s age I had a whipping cough and I helped a lot

I recommend to heat up water on the stove or microwave, (microwave is faster) pour the hot water in a mug, then add black pepper, (add enough to make it tastes spicy not too spicy tho) after that you can add honey to make the drink more sweeter so it will tatse better. This drink works amazing and ive been drinking this since i was really young. You can also add lemon if u want. Hope this helps

My Mom had something like this she was still coughing for 2 months after she felt better! I’m not sure what it was but the cough really liked to stay around
