- In this video, we are out with our Dammann Profi-Class. This tandem axle trailed crop sprayer is equipped with a 12,000 litre tank and a boom width of 40 metres, making it ideal for working efficiently on large fields. We are pulling this Dammann trailed sprayer with a Case Optum 300 tractor.
In this video, we are applying liquid nitrogen to our crop of Oilseed Rape (Canola). This particular field is split into smaller trial blocks which is why there are breaks in the crop every so often.
Warter Priory is a world class farming operation set in the heart of East Yorkshire amidst 12,000 acres. At Warter, we pride ourselves on our reputation for quality and efficient farming. The main crops we focus on growing are wheat, barley and oilseed rape. We also grow peas in partnership with Birds Eye and some of our land is used for growing potatoes.

Thank you
thats an impressive package great sprayer looks like its right at home on that case
Thanks!
Top class video! Boom stability looks very impressive. It's been a long time since I visited Warter Priory Estate back in the day when I was involved with Herriau precision drills for vining peas...
Fantastic
Thanks
Very impressive piece of kit 👍👍
Thanks
Remember the days when 24 metre was a big sprayer ?!! Impressive very impressive.
Si Noothenladd I remember when we went to 40ft (12m) !! We were in a much smaller operation with very undulating ground though.
Ben Pattinson in all fairness the 1st 1 I can remember was a Lely with a 12 metre boom & a little barrel tank !!!!
Si Noothenladd I think we might still have it👍👍in all fairness were up to the dizzy heights of 15m now. Like I say, undulating ground and no auto contour system.
Ben Pattinson growing up on a farm in the 70's & 80's was a wonderful experience, pining myself behind the tractor seat whilst drilling beet with a 6 row drill 😱😱 , learning 2 drive straight without the use of GPS (failed miserably!), great music & as my wife constantly says my love 4 David Brown tractors!!!!!
Si Noothenladd made in Huddersfield. Happy days
Love you
nice sprayer
Thanks
Super
Thank you
Wow.. another absolutely stunning video, but that boom just doesn"t look like its 40 metres
Thanks Simon. I can assure you that it is :-)
👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks
Great video! Why have you gone for a trailer sprayer of this size over an equivalent self propelled unit?
Thank you! Price played a big part in the decision. We can be almost as efficient with this as a self propelled
I would always go trailed / mounted as if the tractor breaks down or something you just swap over and off you go. If a swlf propelled breaks down then your screwed
Why is turning on headland not shown?
A beast, how does it cope on your hilly fields, just a thought, as a self propelled machine has all the weight on the drive wheels.
So far we haven't had any trouble with it but it hasn't been out much with the recent weather. Time will tell, but it should be fine!
If you have something like an optum on the front it will pull it no problem, additionally center of gravity is lower on almost all trailed sprayers so it’s harder for the operator to roll it.
Just a question, all of the equipment in your videos is yours? Or do you film on both your farm and on other’s?
Hi. We only film on our farm. All the equipment is ours or on demo
Warter Priory Estate Damn that yard must be big, thanks for the answer!!!
Ale smietka od granic zjadla rzepak
What made you switch from Fendt/ Claas to Case / CNH ?
When we looked at changing, we went to all brands and had a lot of demo machines. We really liked some of the features on the Case. Also price and service agreements played a big part in the decision.
Made in Germany/ Hedendorf 😎
Yep!
How’s this setup for compaction?
So far from what we've seen, it looks pretty good!
No tire pressure control system?
Nothing built into the machine... just a good operator on the seat!
Have the Bateman sprayers all gone now
We will be looking to sell a couple of them in the coming months.
Looks pretty dry , presume not filmed in the last 10 days .?
Yeah it was filmed a few weeks ago before all the rain hit
