Yes you can put her occupation as student but you don't need any document from university. Applicant's educational documents are not needed in spousal sponsorship

Hi. When I am uploading the validated form 1344 and 5532 in the portal, 'Please Wait' document is getting uploaded. So basically, when immigration officer will download the form, it will get downloaded as 'Please wait" document for him as well. But on saving the form in acrobat will give him the original form that I filled out. Am I right? Kindly reply. In dire need of help.

I'm trying to submit the Family Class Spouse Sponsorship Application for permanent residence. I'm seeing these issues since more than 2weeks: IMM 0008 is taking address from "My Profile" page and is not allowing to input the representative's address(mailing and email). As per instructions of both IMM 5406 and IMM 5669 in the portal, names have to be entered in both english and native script. But the form is taking name from "My Profile" page is not allowing to enter name in native script. I'm unable to continue with my application at this point.Anyone still facing these issues ? If not how could you resolve them.
Yes correct. they should be deploying a fix soon for that. For now, You can simply provide the applicant's native name in a separate document and upload as "5406/5669 supporting document" under "other"

While submitting the application, there was a problem in the IMM 5406 and IMM 5669 forms. The online portal now accepts the spouse's details from the profile and was automatically adding the section for my spouse who is already in Canada. We contacted them and they acknowledged the bug. We went ahead to submit the application with the bug and wrote a letter of explanation telling about the bug and attached the acknowledgement from the IRCC. Is that okay?
@mayankyadav707 : I'm in the same boat. Names had to be entered in native language too. But since it was taking the spouse's details from the portal. And also were you representative for your spouse. If so, how did you add representative contact details since portal was taking them from the portal?

I had the same problem, but if you have your spouse in Canada submit it, it will go through. I had my wife in Canada went through all the forms and they all stay “Ready to submit” every time the page is refresh. I think the issue at this time has something to do with the website messing up if you are submitting from outside Canada.

Thats how its supposed to be, 1344 is primarily the Sponsor's form. You're good.

I'm trying to submit the Family Class Spouse Sponsorship Application for permanent residence. I'm seeing these issues since more than 2weeks: IMM 0008 is taking address from "My Profile" page and is not allowing to input the representative's address(mailing and email). As per instructions of both IMM 5406 and IMM 5669 in the portal, names have to be entered in both english and native script. But the form is taking name from "My Profile" page is not allowing to enter name in native script. I'm unable to continue with my application at this point.Anyone still facing these issues ? If not how could you resolve them.
Yes correct. they should be deploying a fix soon for that. For now, You can simply provide the applicant's native name in a separate document and upload as "5406/5669 supporting document" under "other"

Good question. Caps or no-caps does not matter, either one works. As long its spelled the same as on the passport.

While submitting the application, there was a problem in the IMM 5406 and IMM 5669 forms. The online portal now accepts the spouse's details from the profile and was automatically adding the section for my spouse who is already in Canada.
We contacted them and they acknowledged the bug. We went ahead to submit the application with the bug and wrote a letter of explanation telling about the bug and attached the acknowledgement from the IRCC. Is that okay?
@mayankyadav707 : I'm in the same boat. Names had to be entered in native language too. But since it was taking the spouse's details from the portal. And also were you representative for your spouse. If so, how did you add representative contact details since portal was taking them from the portal?
@mayankyadav707 I would have done the same thing. Thats the best you could do, informing them through the LOE. Now lets hope they accept it.
@@sandeepreddy6681 Hi Sandeep. We explained everything in the LoE. And filled all the details in the profile section. Whatever it could pick up, it did. Rest we mentioned in the letter.

Yup, its been a recent glitch. Lots of folks experiencing this since last week. Just wait a while, my hope is they should be fixing it soon.

I had the same problem, but if you have your spouse in Canada submit it, it will go through. I had my wife in Canada went through all the forms and they all stay “Ready to submit” every time the page is refresh. I think the issue at this time has something to do with the website messing up if you are submitting from outside Canada.
The ircc portal is working now, I have uploaded my document yesterday. You guys should try and login to your account
