im late but oh well. like the other comments explained, the character in this is Parsee Mizuhashi, the stage 2 boss of touhou 11, subterranean animism. she's pretty much a youkai of jealousy like others explained. she kinda guards a bridge that connects the surface to former hell (although in game we never saw the bridge, we were kinda just going through a huge tunnel thingy). so basically she is jealous of everyone, but she can be nice if you talk to her, just not that long though ig. she can find ways to be jealous of anyone. anyway, so i believe parsee's based off of the japanese myth/youkai, Hashihime. pretty sure she was a woman, who waited for her lover/husband to visit her, but due to her lover's/husband's infidelity, (or the fact her husband cheated on her or had another wife and paid more attention to her, whatever version floats your boat) she became jealous, and turned into an oni/demon by praying to the Kami of Kifune for revenge. hashihime is mostly associated with a bridge (forgot where), which explains why parsee guards a bridge. This is just a guess but “Netaminity” might be a portmanteau between “netamashi” which is japanese for jealous and “eternity” I guess this just means “eternal jealousy” which is fitting of parsee. Also pls react to HANIPAGANDA.

She is an interesting character in all honesty and is actually not mentioned a lot but is around. Also touhou 18 just got announced a week or so ago, while touhou 17.5 is delayed a bit. And it was Zun's birthday a couple days ago. The creator turned 44.

Actually she's pretty nice person and ypu can talk to her normally.. at least for 1-2 minutes.. because more she talking to you - the more reasons to be jealous of you she'll find. She can find reason to be jealous in anyone, and if there's no reason to be jealous of, she'll be jealous of you due to the fact, that she couldn't even find a reason to be jealous So yeah.. Oh and about curse. Well... it's a ritual like voodoo and actually.. Parsee never officially used it(unlike Alice, but that's completely different story), but I'll try to explain it anyway(there might be some mistakes in the description since I'm not specialist in those kinds of rituals and know only what I heard from other people): In this ritual you need to wear a white dress with special headwear(shown in the video), in the dead of the night come to the shrine and you should 7 days days in a row impale straw doll, then your cruel wish will come true. BUT! If anyone sees you doing it the curse will not work. There's the story. I guess that's all! Take care Lano!
