Have to say - pyjama goals! Love them :). I loved the concertina sketchbook but struggled to get pigment payoff with some of the pencils. I enjoyed using the pen. So it was bittersweet for me as I really wanted to love the Derwent pencils but found they were just not pigmented enough. I could have layered them a bit more I guess :). Your fishy is awesome 🤩

It’s a shame the paper did not perform.They have a big name too,I think one of my journals is by them .But boy that is a really long concertina ,I don’t think I have seen one that long before .It would have been fun to have done a full scene with things happening all along it .I don’t think I would be brave enough ,but I have seen a few done like this.🥰

I have never been a fan of the accordion sketchbooks it almost feels like you have to make one a long continuous picture and I don’t think that’s what sketchbooks are for. I have seen people just use them page by page, but it seems weird having them all connected. I wonder at the selection of colors of the pencils, I guess it is a way to limit the pallet of the artist getting the boxes. Do hope you’re feeling better and things are going your way more. Emily, if I could I'd give you two thumbs up - one for the beautiful artwork and another for the sloth pjs! I really like the box, especially the sketch book, though I haven't tried the paper yet and excited to try the blender pen. I could have done with maybe a yellow instead of one of the greys, especially as the prompt is food-related - seafood is definitely going to be my dish of the day too!
I would still be subscribed it they had only taped my boxes! Can't count the number of times I received damaged or empty boxes. Shipping to Canada is rough on these somewhat flimsy packages. I do miss them though. Upcrate has been good so far.

The Derwent Pencils are my favourite coloured pencils. They are so smooth and the lead is nicely strong! While I haven't gotten my box yet, I can use the time until it arrives to think of a drawing to do for the prompt. Loving the fact that the pen is made out of recycled bottles and looks like one! A question out of curiosity: Why aren't you eating the sweets? Do you have insulin troubles or allergies? Or do you just not like sweets?
I think the recycled pen is awesome too! I think art companies should try an incorporate more recycled products! 😄 and I give the sweets in the box to my brother because I’m not a fan of them haha but also because I have a permanent wire behind my front teeth and getting sweets stuck in it could break it and it’s £200 to replace it 😂 thank you so much for watching! ❤

They are beautiful I use to get the box it was costing more to send to Australia I had to cancel it it was so much fun opening up the box each month

I have to wait for my January box because of Royal Mail's cyber incident, so they can't send to EU countries right now. 😢
