"grip or drift" yes. no but for real theres something just in between called slip angle. its when youre not fulling gripped but not fully drifting either, and it's a lot faster than either. look it up i geuss

pro tip. buy the silvia s13(is a tier1 its slow) or mr2 aw11(also tier1) and use it to learn the curve line you want to follow and top speed one can maintain in the curve then get your favourite tier 3 car and practice the braking points to match the speed and line that you followed on the tier1
