I'm a 8th grader and I'm glad to tell you that schools are now slowly implementing these changes. For example, this week club activities were introduced for STD 7 to 8 students only. We were given a few options to choose from and these were AI (Artificial Intelligence), Eco, Tourism, Flim and Photography, Maths Wizard, Science Wizard, English language, Hindi language and Sanskrit language clubs. I have chosen AI as I want to become a Software Engineer in future and I find AI very interesting. CBSE has also dropped some chapters like Cell Structures and it's Functions, Solar System, Non-Metals and Metals, Synthetic Fibres and Plastics, Water Pollution from our science textbook.
I am glad Indian education system getting so systematic, scientific and relevant to the present age. I wish I could say the same for my country too. Love from 🇳🇵.
I'm from Delhi goverment school and now a new rule introduced in our school, now students have to clean school on last day of week means saturday or friday just like Japan's school. And I am so glad about this❤

Exams like JEE or NEET should also change otherwise people will still study pcm or PCB with extra subjects not requiring more study which is a science stream without an official science stream
But I think that , manh people choose jee/neet because they no no other options but now 16 subjects will be there so they can identify their talent and will work with that , like my friend chose jee prep but he is mainly focused on his coding skills , he doesn't care about iit.

Hearing about the New Education Policy made me excited for the future generations but also made me sad for the students who weren't able to enjoy the new changes! I am now in 10th grade but I think there are very low chances for this to be implemented especially in icse , cuz our school is a typical English school which only focuses on board's result. Subjects such as AI would be difficult for the existing teachers to teach.

NEP is good overall. But one major thing that it lacks is appointment of teachers on the basis of their teaching abilities and the dynamic gradation/ranking of teachers according to their teaching style and abilities so that they avoid rote learning methods and focus on improving their teaching methods and don’t slack off like a loser. If teachers are inefficient, they’ll stick to their old methods no matter how much education system changes and the pressure on students will increase twofolds.
Teachers education mein bhi kafi badlaav kiya gya hai (nep 2020)as an aspiring Teacher i can say that and aage bhi changes hone vaale hai old method ko bhi change kiya gya hai but abhi bhi changes karne ki zarurat hai old teachers hai jo abhi bhi old method se padha rahe hai unko bhi training deni chahiye...baaki lets hope for the best

I am from School of specialised excellence basically isme IB curriculum chalta hai or hum apni specialisation choose kr skte hai jese mene 9th mein admission liya or mai Filmmaking,Acting and Media Studies padh rhi hoon or class ke benches bhi group mein lge hue hai taki hum 3k dusre or teacher se discussion kr ske or pura practical knowledge or focus Kiya jata har ek even a vey short topic bhi activities ke through groups mein karaya jata or class bhaut Kam bachhe jisse class mein har kisi or teacher achhe se focus kr skta hai or his bachhe ko jisme problem hoti uspar focus Kiya jaata hai or hr class mein smart board hai smart tv hai screen or phones bhi school ki taraf se hi available hai or hr ek bachhe pr Chromebook bhi jo ki school ki taraf se mili hai or ye ek Delhi government school hai

When you said about the third stage (3rd to 5th standard), you told from now the teaching style will be focused on and question asking ability will be given importance. But I don't know how the young teachers in West Bengal will answer the questions of students, because they don't know the answer themselves. In these days, you know, numerous teachers are employed by giving huge amount of hush money to the corrupted MP, MLAs. Some of them even haven't attended any exam or interview!
Used to happen in UP too few years ago when SP was in power and only a certain group of people got teaching jobs that too with bribes and all. Now yogi govt. sends inspectors in all schools across the state many times a year to check on the methods of teaching and all that. This comment made me furious at TMC because there was once a time when greatest minds in all fields used to come from West Bengal and it was considered a state of intellectuals. Now all we hear in about West Bengal is news of violence and roits. I too want to go to WB if i can to study but the violence there has scred my mother and she has even refused my brother to fill the form of WBJEE. Hope WB gets a better governance and restore it's glory. 🙏

Jee neet won't change anytime soon, maybe they can add mental ability and increase attempts. Jee checks pcm whereas neet checks pcb.

Hearing about the New Education Policy made me excited for the future generations but also made me sad for the students who weren't able to enjoy the new changes! As a JEE Aspirant, I am curious about what will happen to such hard and competitive exams like JEE and NEET.

I am happy that the children who are younger than me won't face this outrageous intensive pressure environment, even though i don't hate this pressure and the fact i constantly find places to improve myself and i kind of like to interact and compete with other students,
I personally think that the amount of students who go for the exams will reduce because of the introduction of new options and the competitive exams might remain the same as it's the education policy which is changed but nonetheless hoping for the good
I am now in 10th grade but I think there are very low chances for this to be implemented especially in icse , cuz our school is a typical English school which only focuses on board's result. Subjects such as AI would be difficult for the existing teachers to teach.

My opinion : - there should be add debates sessions by weeks or months for teenagers so they can give their opinions and listen other opinions. This will help them to boost thinking power and think from both side
We used to that in of the schools i studied in. We used debate with our social science teacher and fellow classmates regarding politics. Fun times miss those days

NEP is good overall. But one major thing that it lacks is appointment of teachers on the basis of their teaching abilities and the dynamic gradation/ranking of teachers according to their teaching style and abilities so that they avoid rote learning methods and focus on improving their teaching methods and don’t slack off like a loser. If teachers are inefficient, they’ll stick to their old methods no matter how much education system changes and the pressure on students will increase twofolds.

When you said about the third stage (3rd to 5th standard), you told from now the teaching style will be focused on and question asking ability will be given importance. But I don't know how the young teachers in West Bengal will answer the questions of students, because they don't know the answer themselves. In these days, you know, numerous teachers are employed by giving huge amount of hush money to the corrupted MP, MLAs. Some of them even haven't attended any exam or interview!
Used to happen in UP too few years ago when SP was in power and only a certain group of people got teaching jobs that too with bribes and all. Now yogi govt. sends inspectors in all schools across the state many times a year to check on the methods of teaching and all that.
This comment made me furious at TMC because there was once a time when greatest minds in all fields used to come from West Bengal and it was considered a state of intellectuals. Now all we hear in about West Bengal is news of violence and roits. I too want to go to WB if i can to study but the violence there has scred my mother and she has even refused my brother to fill the form of WBJEE. Hope WB gets a better governance and restore it's glory. 🙏
