Titles read: "REHEARSAL TIME - filmed at London Pavilion."
"Long before the curtain goes up on the show, Producers, Artists, Orchestra etc. are having rapid try-outs of the Acts... making up the show - (These fast-steppers are the Danny Lipton trio).
L/Ss of the Danny Litpon trio tap dancing, with band playing in background. "Then Casa and Lehn have a word or two with Harry Reso and his Band." L/S of Casa and Lehn attempting to demonstrate what the band should do at certain points in the performance They demonstrate some of their dance moves.
"'Where are the Angels' the cry goes up ? So on the Sherman Fisher 'Angels' come." L/Ss of the girls dancing on stage in line performing numerous high kicks. M/S of woman sitting down showing off a lot of leg. Several more shots of the girls dancing, until they are stopped by the producer (?) who shouts "WOW, WOW !"
"And in a short break, Wright and Marion (and the Dog) broke in for a gag or two." L/Ss of the girls tap dancing, Wright and Marion dash across in front of them. Wright comes back on stage and starts dancing with one of the girls. Suddenly another woman walks up and slaps him on the face. "The dog had a really good break." High angle shots of Marion chewing Wright's hat.
"But dances must go with a kick, so on the "Angels" come again for a last run through." L/S of the girls dancing again. Once again the producer stops them and tell one of the girls she is doing it wrong. He gets Rita to show her how it should be done. L/S of cat walking around backstage. Several more shots of the girls dancing. M/S women sitting down knitting.
