Fantastic vocal interpretation! I am not usually impressed by most singers when they attempt to tackle Layne's music. You hit the soulfulness without trying to be Layne or Jerry. You make the vocal track your own and you have the ability to do it well! I was lucky enough to see AIC with Layne in the early 90s. To this day they are one of my all time favorites and part of my daily music rotation.

In drop D tuning the thumb over the E, A and D strings was the only way I could comfortably bar the b and top e strings with my pinky for the Em7 chord. A little unorthodox but whatever works!
