- Been meaning to take this thing apart for some time now. Finally got round to doing it. I don't know how close I came to blowing the thing, it started smelling really bad, but I stopped pretty quick and then ended the video, haha.
Kind of find it strange they chose not to let the sub hit those lower frequencies though.

I agree however i bought a 2nd hand set and the guy who sold it to me conned me with regard to the control unit i think, my remote does not work with my control unit and i've tested the remote with a camera and it is sending signal, guys could i be missing something ? Please help or could anyone maybe sell me their control unit if you are scrapping yours ?
+Wibran20 the main control units on these tend to have a high failure rate. Most of the time it's just the back lighting that stops working but I wouldn't be surprised if there were other issues.

Bro do you sometimes experience subwoofer catching up some male vocals while watching movies ??? Is it normal ??? I've already set my xover for as low as 45Hz lowest setting.
No dude I can't say I've experienced that, you mean rumbling with male vocals right?
Yes like only a little noticeable when mid hi's are not that loud.

I tried sine wave on my sub from 10-200 i set the xover at 45Hz there is still some frequencies like 50-100Hz which is audible.

I have one of these but i got bored of the stock Logitech Sub so i cut the hole bigger and put a JBL GT5-12 In there, it's funny how crazy it sounds even with the Stock Amp, i only use that amp because it's just a little 2.1 Desk Setup not my Full System.

I want to cut the Port Side off and maybe make it a Slot Port but our Jigsaw is broken so i can't do it yet :(

I want to install my subwoofer in the livingroom like you did in a video but i don't know which amp to use, I want the amp to power my sub and normal speakers(5.1 surround), is that possible? I have a Climax Phatt 2000 (2000Watt, I think that's about 1000 Watt RMS i'm not shure how that works..)
I don't think that's possible, I mean I'm not clued up on the latest amps etc but as far as I know, unless you're using a dedicated setup like this pc speaker setup or another 5.1 setup that includes a subwoofer, the subwoofer will have to be powered separately.

My sub woofer sounds like maybe the center channel signal is mixing in. Some of the voices try to come out if the sub and makes a growly sound out sub. That’s the best way I can describe it. Otherwise these work perfect. Anyone know a good tech?

You might know but the z5500 has a boost feature where you can turn it up louder than full volume by continuing to spin the volume dial. I found out accidently. And. you did remember to turn the sub volume up yes? anyway! Very funny video😂

On a future video with those connectors, pinch them with something so that they open up and dont grip onto the ends. I thinks it's called a needle nose you use?
How do you connect it to another amp? my pod died so i got a Sony STR-DH810, statlites are fine bu I have no idea how to fix up the sub woofer.
you'll just have to run some wires to it from the other amp
there's me thinking it's something super difficult, i had some logitech z -5500 and the pod went, spent weeks looking for a solution and all I need do is connect the two spade wires to an rca cabe and plug it into the new amp.

I think you know this, but.. that box is ported, which is probably the reason why it has a built in subsonic filter lol.
The box is custom, the amp is completely seperate
i have an old logitech z530 5.1 setup but my subs volume knob is broken , have to press it into the frame for bass to work and have to hold it pressed in or wont play any bass at all :D how to fix that do you know ?

The reason why it wasn't moving much is because you didn't turn on the sub volume on the head unit. i have one and it has no problem being room shacking loud

Ok that's good, how do you manage a well edited video every other day and have a job ,presumably.
hmm, the thing with 'well edited', much like humour, or who someone finds to be funny, is subjective. Plus I consider myself fairly proficient at doing things I enjoy. Such as video editing/making music/Photoshop etc :)
What do you use to edit?
Premiere Pro, used to use Sony Vegas for some of my older stuff, but both of those editors will do the same job
