Do you experienced bad fitting of the DT box in other boards than Starboard? I needed to sand a lot and the plastic piece on top of the mast was way to thick and lots of tolerances. All in all a nice produced foil 🙂
Actually, we have not heard of any problems in regards to the fitting of our foils. The sides are for sure always good. The top of the mast doesn’t need to be sanded on most foil boards but with boards that have a sloped top, the top of the masthead is designed to be able to sand to make it match the slope of any board’s box.
@@StarboardWindsurfing hi, thanks for your feedback. That’s strange. I had to sand quite a lot to get the AL mast into the DT of the I99. Looked like the mast top part was to thick to go into the box. The upper part has been chopped with a saw acc. to the instructions. Do you have standard dimensions available, so I could measure a bit?
Hello Starboarders! Now I am an owner of the Supercruiser Foil and it works phantastic! What position of the frontwing would you recommend? best regards from cold germany Jo
Hello Jochen, congrats on your new foil! Did you mean the tail wing setting? have you visited our new foil webpage yet? we recommend checking out this page for more information about the Super cruiser foil: starboardfoils.com/pages/2021-supercruiser Let us know is you have any more questions.
Great to watch and very informative. But..... don’t over complicate the sport as they did in the late 80’s and early 90’s they lost all the newcomers to the sport that might not have been driven to get to the top. Remember the early 80’s when every household had one! Think long and hard how to gain that enthusiastic traction again. As we fall out of lockdown those with money and desire will come knocking on your door for UK based thrills. Engage them for the long term! Now where on earth did I leave my Jet GTS??? (You might have to Google that one...)
