That gyro in the center console can be done differently. That gyro has to do with the stability control as well as safety. You can cut one of the wires and add a switch to it which will allow you to shut it off whenever you want.
I’ve cut the fuzes you’ve shown and still no luck. I have a 05 and it dosent come with a yaw sensor and or vdc button. I’ve looked everywhere and still can’t seem to figure out how to fully disable my traction control.
If im not going to be tandeming, is it necessarily to pull the yaw sensor? I have an automatic and when I take it to the strip i can’t do a proper burnout as it limits my car to 3k rpms if im on the brake...is that the fuel cut you speak about?
So, when I press the TC button to disable traction control, is the car still controlling traction, albeit to a lesser degree, unless I cut the fuses, in which case there is no control of any kind? I thought pressing the button was supposed to do that, but it doesn't fully? What driver assist remains even when I press the button to disable TC? My car does not have a VDC box, it's a manual 2004 350Z Enthusiast. Thanks.
When driving on highway & hit something a little bump tracking kicks n & it won't go. I have to turn traction on manually to get it to go again. Is this what I need to do to my 06 automatic ?

Yes... I normally work on dedicated track cars where it doesn’t matter but I have had customers ask for it to be done this way for cars that are primarily driven on the street

Good advice. Also - some people have a spare fuse link to put in and out, say if it’s your daily, but then you also go to the track.
That’s a great idea too!!
