Thurmond is a three-year-old gelding sired by Nathaniel and out of the Group 1 Nassau Stakes-winning mare Winsili.
Trained in Ireland by Dermot Weld, he made his debut in a competitive Maiden at Dundalk in January, where he finished third. He is currently in quarantine before beginning his career down under with Ciaron Maher 🇦🇺
